Topic: Where do Cappy girls hang out?

After some researching and introspection I believe my ideal partner has Capricorn in her charts. I am a Capricorn sun myself and my friends tell me I am sometimes quite hard to reach ^_^v. So here's the issue. If the girl I'm looking for is anything like me, how would I be able to meet her? I do go out but I notice I don't have a lot of Cap female friends nor do I bump into them much. I bump into Leos a lot though. Maybe there's something about me?I have Capricorn sun, Leo moon and Cancer rising. With the Cap/Can combo I can come off as shy and quiet for first impression, BUT after I pass my initial reserve I do talk a lot. My venus is in Saggitarius so I love socializing and making new friends. So main question is... how would I be able to tell who's a Cap Asc? I wouldn't want to just start randomly talking to every shy girl... but that can be arranged too if need be lol  ------------------

Are you really just gonna focus on a Cap Asc? My experience is that I once focused on my ideal starsigns.
Buth did I get a cold welcome from them. There were totally not interested in me.
So I became a little scaptical about it all. But I still love astrology, didn't lost my sense of humour and still

wellllll, i am a cap ascendant and i have a cap boyfriend. but i guess i would have thought i'm more like my sunsign, pisces, and my moon sign, libra, when it comes to what i enjoy doing? i like going to the park and anywhere beautiful, arty things like going to see live music and film. i'm a social creature, mostly. i'm not sure what the stereotypical capricorn-rising place to hang out would be thought....
but i kinda agree with Scorpio... maybe looking for someone with capricorn in her chart would be a good idea, but it might be best to just focus on meeting nice people everywhere and anywhere, because i'm sure it's pretty hard to pinpoint a random stranger as having exactly the placements you're trying to find.....

to try to help you in figuring out cap ascendant though, personally wise, i think appear quite serious and blunt sometimes to people who don't know me very well. i am very reflective and always thinking, even when i'm enjoying myself. i wouldn't say i'm shy at all, but i don't like being the centre of attention, and i hate fighting to make myself heard.... i would rather not speak at all if i'm in a large group of people who are all fighting to be heard.i have a lot of capricorn in my chart though. x IP: Logged |

Thank you everyone for your replies! I guess the way I worded it seemed like I ONLY wanted to find cap girls. That's not the case. I enjoy meeting all sorts of people, but I just find it interesting that I don't have many cap girl friends. But thank you for your input about how they are like in a group setting. I think I just have to keep my eyes wide open Thing is, when I see quiet people or those who don't talk in a group setting I kinda get intimidated and I shy away, not sure why. And I'm thinking maybe because sometimes I'm quiet too, people get intimidated by me! lol. Maybe that's why I know a lot of Leo girl friends because they have always seem to want to initiate a conversation and break down my wall :\ IP: Logged |

Capricorn females are typically "high society" culture minded even if they were raised in a shack so to speak. Natural refined taste, manners, etiquette, conservative & well dressed and yes quiet. Most often labeled a wallflower type yet they are leader's of womens' groups or ministries. They are the power behind the throne type and can appear stuck up or "icy" as they have discriminating tastes. Museums, jazz bars, symphonies, classy restaurants, high end grocery stores. Lol! Well personally when I let my reserve go I can get very emotional, but it is rare because I takes awhile for me to really fully trust someone to show that side of me. You're probably right scorpio17. I don't want to put on a caring display unless that person deserved it or if we are in an intimate setting. But I do put on a happy face and sociable when I'm in my comfort zone (around friends, familiar faces) it's only when I'm somewhere new and alone that I become shy and reserved.I am also curious about scorpio girls. I have not found someone who I think would be a potential interest, yet when we talk there is always a connection and conversation just flows. Plus I notice a form of confidence you guys put up that intrigues me, but I have never been able to get close to one. I may be an oddball when I say I'm somewhat attracted to shy girls when I'm sometimes shy myself >_< IP: Logged |

Have to agree with mermaid! one of my best friends is a very strong Capricorn lady and she is exactly like that. she likes expensive things and hates vulgarity.
I'm not sure how two Capricorns together would work because i think i am a big fan of the whole opposites attract thing! i believe in very different people complementing eachother. PS Happycap, as my boyfriend is Cappy i have to say he too is very shy in BIG social groups... he is very funny and likes socialising but with new people i think he likes more one on one.. kind of like me. good luck IP: Logged |

Hello mermaid, yes I do believe we both should be independent, but can you see the potential problem in that? We would never want to be together lol. I do not enjoy dating as much as I do enjoy becoming friends and just hanging out with groups of friends.I notice the traits you mentioned too when reading up on them and I would imagine the ideal place to find one would be at the workplace where we are both top-tier managers of something. hehe, office relations. kinky IP: Logged |

I'm curious pretty_uglybefore, how exactly did you two meet? Was it random? Through mutual friends? To be honest the only cap girls whom I've befriended were introduced by mutual friends. Mostly by a taurus lol. I don't think I have ever met a cap (male or female) on my own.IP: Logged |

it was quite random.... we are both just graduating uni now and met four years ago in our first week of uni, in a club. i was with a friend from home and a guy who was in her class in first year of secondary school spoke to us, and he was placed in halls with one of my boyfriend's classmates. so that is how we met. and it was verrrrrrry difficult at first as my BF is very independant and likes to 'disappear'.... we remained friends/on and off 'dating'. but i have to say, from the first night we met there was always a connection. i think Earth and Water signs go together nicely different enough to complement eachother but don't clash so much. i broke down my Cappy's shell with my watery ways.... I agree that you will find most harmony with Earth and Water. I personally couldn't work side by side with my partner. Funny, you're right, business attire is a turn on for Cap's, meet in the boardroom after midnight sounds glorious to them. Shy, reserved, yea right! I won't tell anymore secrets. In all seriousness, from personal experience I'm seeing a Cap/Leo and Cap/Tau and Cap/Lib marriages being shaken hard right now. My best advice is find someone with the Holy Trinity (I call it)of shared beliefs -
Spiritual, Financial, Family Dynamics - this makes for a successful partnership. Two people who know who they are, coming into the relationship not to "fix" or make each other "whole" but simply complimentary to one another. I am 21 (yea yea I know you're probably thinking 'why are you even thinking about this?! you're young! go out and have fun!') but I love to advance myself in life and see how far I can push my limits. Because of my age, people, including my parents, think I am inexperienced with the real world so they try to shelter me and limit my curiosity. I know they have good intentions but I would like to explore the world my own way.It is hard to find someone who is mature at my age. And I do mean mature, not someone who's prudent and hardbent on values. Or someone who's inexperienced and sheltered. Like you said, someone who knows who they are and what they want and is understanding of the world. I admit I use to have strong values, but life has taught me the world isn't made for just me and that there are circumstances, and people that I have to adhere to if I want to grow and if harmony is to be upheld. I think you took the words straight out of my mouth. I'm not looking for anyone to fix nor am I looking for anyone to take care of me. I'm looking for a friend Can you point me in the right direction? How could I utilize this tool to better find this Holy Trinity? I am in no rush in finding that significant other. It's just, you know, why plant a tree tomorrow when you can plant one today? ^_^ And water signs are too elusive for me though I know they might be compatible. I wouldn't know how to attract one unless I'm constantly talking to them which is like once in a blue moon that I do that. I like to do the whole disappearing act a lot lol.IP: Logged |

My, I really don't think you're going to be like walking into a room crammed with Cap ascendants only 
I would not focus on Cap asc, I would look at the Midheaven, and really if you're so hung up on finding someone so focused and prudent then you will find that person probably working on their career. Sign up with a dating site and say what you're looking for if you're in this much of a hurry. I'm not kidding. I did it and it worked for me - I was able to weed out the person I wanted (rather, he found me lol, and before that online dating was not my thing). A person who is serious and career-minded might not have time to socialize or doesn't like bars lol, and might want to find a relationship but hates the BS, so this is another reason why online works. Also keep in mind that in about 7 years you're going to go through your Saturn Return and A LOT will change. Maybe even what and who you are looking for. That's the thing with you Capricorns. You start out really serious and deadset on a specific path but then the older you get, the more relaxed you become which is a good thing. It's just that most Caps are so deadset on what they want and want things in systematic order, that they often corner themselves without realizing it. You want this one thing and focus on it, and if you get it, be sure it's with someone who is also going to be flexible or at the very least FUN, which should not be hard since you have a Leo Moon. For the record, just because someone is FUN doesn't mean they are a flake. For the love of all that is holy, do not go by astrology alone. By those terms alone I should have had a VERY good marriage with my Capricorn ex-husband but in fact it did not work and no, it had nothing to do with astrology (though my Aries moon did have its say as it always will  ). Just look for who feels right (or in your case, who looks the part lol) and the rest will fall into place.
And remember this:
Water is not necessarily always elusive.
Earth is not necessarily always stable.
Fire is not necessarily always direct.

I can only advise you to know your own truth. Parents, friends, and society will continuously project their beliefs upon you. Your job is to filter out the misinformation and follow your heart. Capricorns can worry too much about what other people think. It is honorable and noble and sign of good character, but a healthy dose of fun now may prevent later regrets. Capricorns can well handle relationships with age differences because of their inborn sense of maturity. You are young and my best advice is to be yourself, be the genuine expression of friendship and love you wish to attract. Also, know concretely what you wish to attract. Law of the Universe...when you rub the Magic Genie Lamp, be specific...don't just ask for a girl(you may get a bad seed)seek the diamond quality you deserve.

Saturn Return hits when you're around 28 and it changes a lot. I know a lot of people dread it, but it's not bad because it just makes you take stock of your life. If you're not aware, it will make you aware.
I personally LOVED my Saturn return lol
The time AFTER it sucked though. It's different for everyone is what I am trying to say. Also, just keep in mind that you will always look at the sign on your 7th house cusp/decendant sign to see about the other you will attract or the mate you would like. You're a Cancer rising so it's Capricorn on your 7th houe cusp...but don't take that literally. It's not like you need to search for a Capricorn mate - just someone who has those Saturnine traits. That also means those traits will come out in several ways: - There might be an age difference, and it can go either way
- The commitment will always be taken in all seriousness since Saturn on the 7th doesn't screw around with relationships
- There might be a delay with the commitment because it's like everything is SOOOOO serious lol But looking at your Moon and Venus will tell you more about the female you desire.
You like women who are more direct and in-your-face (fire) and also just fun to hang out with. If you attract Leos it might because of your Moon in Leo.
I don't think you have to sacrifice seriousness for fun or vice-versa btw - you just need to find someone who is very multi-faceted and diverse, and MATURE. So I might even venture to guess that someone who is either older or who is mature for their age would be good because they would have life experience to draw from and also a serious edge.

lol actually I am quite lazy but I have a plethora of ideas for projects. Thing is, after I get started on one I have to finish it >_< So I tend to laze around until something that comes up that's worth working on. I don't like work to be honest I just want to make something out of myself and not be a bum living under mom's roof for the rest of my life. Funny because I am currently looking for another job right now before I leave my current one. Need a stable source of income What can you tell from just my charts and stars? Yeah that is a lot of Cappy. Born on the 26th too, like me and now I see why I have the instant affinity/sympatico for you. My husband is a Vir/Cap Mn/Jup Can and Ven Leo - he is a Production Manager for high end residential remodeling...he was a Finish Manager in new construction long ago...he is good at bringing things to completion and pleasing his highly discriminating customers.
