If someone has Mars Square Saturn in their synastry chart with their partner, but NOT in their composite... is that better than having it in the composite but not in the synastry chart??And which do you feel is worse? Mars Square Saturn or Venus Square Saturn? IP: Logged |

Yes to the 1st question Mars sq Saturn is worse because it involves battles of the will, and impeding the other's progress, and reacting too sensitively taking on a control freak persona just because the other person rubs you the wrong way (ie, they won't do what you say ) Venus sq Saturn, I'd rather see that in synastry than a composite.IP: Logged |

I would vote for it being better if found in synastry (if not a DW) too. Synastry shows where the energies of two people are compatible and not compatible, while the composite is about the relationship's nature overall. So just a simple look at it, I'd prefer my Mars not being compatible with someone's Saturn, than our relationship actually having a generalized Mars/Saturn conflict imprint. Just being compatible/incompatible on certain things doesn't mean that all of these compatibilities/incompatibilities would really mean much, but a compatibility/incompatibility being one of the overall themes of the relationship would certainly mean more.About which square is better, I'd say both of them can be as bad, it's just the conflict they represent are different.
