I'm trying to find out how best to 'let go' of people, relationships, things, concepts and embrace change a bit more in life.I seem to be doing a lot of work with this with Saturn in my sign at the moment and with my Mars in Taurus it's something I really struggle to do. I've just found this and it's helped me so thought I'd post it in case it helps anyone else in the same boat. Good luck x LETTING GO TAKES LOVE To let go does not mean to stop caring, it means I can't do it for someone else. To let go is not to cut myself off, it's the realization I can't control another. To let go is not to enable, but allow learning from natural consequences. To let go is to admit powerlessness, which means the outcome is not in my hands. To let go is not to try to change or blame another, it's to make the most of myself. To let go is not to care for, but to care about. To let go is not to fix, but to be supportive. To let go is not to judge, but to allow another to be a human being. To let go is not to be in the middle arranging all the outcomes, but to allow others to affect their destinies. To let go is not to be protective, it's to permit another to face reality. To let go is not to deny, but to accept. To let go is not to nag, scold or argue, but instead to search out my own shortcomings and correct them. To let go is not to adjust everything to my desires, but to take each day as it comes and cherish myself in it. To let go is not to criticize or regulate anybody, but to try to become what I dream I can be. To let go is not to regret the past, but to grow and live for the future. To let go is to fear less and love more and To let go and to let God, is to find peace ! Remember: The time to love is short ------ author unknown IP: Logged |

And this... http://www.celebratelove.com/lettinggo.htm The line that says "letting go does not mean giving up" was particularly useful to me. I always seem to equate being 'powerless' with giving up and losing control. Big lesson there. IP: Logged |

SO SO TRUE! Learning to let go! It cannot be learnt...it has to happen unconsciously! This desire comes from the deepest depths of ones heart and soul. It requires a lot of courage and grace. Letting go is manifested by a certain change in us, this change is so tremendous that you will be overwhelmed with joy. once you do that, all the situations or goals that you once encompassed will require a setback..A time to reorganize your life and dreams will eventually take place. Letting go gives you more and more place to grow..u start to trust your inner self more and more. IP: Logged |

Yeah, it's hard. It's especially frustrating when something really matters to you, like someone's welfare or an issue of social justice, and it seems counter-intuitive to not keep hanging on and pushing and trying to control. I think this is exactly Saturn's challenge in the chart/transits actually...it seems like it wants you to tighten your grip, but ACTUALLY Saturn's message is to let go and open up, to release yourself from restrictions, to give up trying to control. It can also be a Pluto lesson, in a different way. IP: Logged |

Its difficult, but necessary. Sometimes its a matter of letting something go that is hindering you from your spiritual growth. Its hard to grasp that everyone has to live their own life and make their own choices IP: Logged | |
