Topic: Crazy attraction! What's happening? Please help!

After reading so many posts and seeing how insightful and helpful all of you are, I have just joined this forum and this is my first post. I really need some help! I have worked with this guy for 10 years and we have been just casual friends. I was never attracted to him before now. We are both in long term relationships and do not intend to change that. The funny thing is, I had surgery a few months ago and since then I cannot stop thinking about him! He was very concerned and handled some of my business while I was recovering. I have no idea what happened. My heart pounds like crazy when he is near. We have become a little closer with more email communication and he has made sure to ask me to attend seminars and group functions that he was attending, even though we don't go as a couple. He just wants me there. He initiated a word game to play online with me and does so several times a day. He really doesn't express any feelings though and I am not sure if he is experiencing any of this attraction or if it is just me? It is the craziest thing I have ever experienced! I will share what I know about our charts, which isn't much. Me/ Sept23

Your sun signs are in oppoition(judging by your dates of birth), it may even be in axact opposition or in a very tight orb.I am the opinion that opposition signs, especially, tend to detract from each other and then later on-unexpectedly- be attracted. Star signs aside, you've gone through a very traumatic experience and that usually makes people a lot more alert to personal feelings, start appeciating things more and (all in all) gain clarity on some unresolved issues. So, I am assuming the surgery was a major one, I would say that for him to be showing so much tenderness and thoughtfullness during this period was him being a caring person. But you must be carefull and not confuse thoughfullness(which in this case I suspect it is) to something deeper.... As a Libra Sun, you tend to view "gentlemany" behavior as attractive. Indeed, this side of him may have gotten some attention from you. But you must read his personality as a whole and ask yourself if this "change" is contextual or was it always there?

Thank you, AscTaurus!I appreciate your thoughts and think they are worth consideration and may very well be correct! It's funny, when we discuss business it seems that we have the same goals and concerns for our clients. We are very much alike in our thoughts, but we approach things so differently! He acts quickly and I think about everything first. He has told me that he thinks I am one of the most unselfish people he has ever known ( I don't agree with that, but do aspire to be that) and I feel the same about him. I see him give to people in
ways that I find almost mystical. We are so different
and so much alike! So yes, it may be just the
wonderful person that he is helping a friend going through a difficult time. My surgery had a positive outcome and I was spared from what could have been a major event. And you are right, things like this do provide "clarity" for many people. I am like a new person with a new appreciation for life. I am a much happier person now! All this just caught me so off guard. Whatever it is, everything will be fine because I know we are friends. Although I must say, life can be full of surprises! IP: Logged | |
