I have a Libra sun with a Capricorn rising, and my love has a Capricorn sun with a Libra rising. Both within 2 degrees of each other. I've read up on Sun/Asc combinations and heard they were good, for various reasons. I don't have my Love Signs book on me at the moment ( lent it to a friend and never got it back ). So what I would loveto know is a more detailed acct of why Sun/Asc combos are positive in Synastry readings, and also what it means when it goes both ways, as in I have his rising as a sun and he has mine as a sun. It is even more positive I would like to think, but would love to hear from an expert thank you sooo much for your help!

It's more if they're conj and trine, or even sextile. It's a self congratulating type of thing. The ASC person emits an energy that calls out to the Sun person, Sun person feels energized & the ASC person gets feedback that the way they go about things is 'the right way to be.' Mutual admiration society. Sun is often attracted to ASC. My experience.
