Hi Lalalinda,In Relationship Signs, Linda says that if one personīs venus is conjunct with anotherīs pluto, that indicates Twin Souls or Soul Mates, people who were once the same individual, one half being the male half and the other the female. They have an innate longing for the other and, from lifetime to lifetime, the unite to feel the joy of completion. I know a man whose Venus is in conjunction with my Pluto and certainly thereīs a Silver Cord between us. I havenīt felt for anybody else what I feel for him. I believe our souls are twin. However, since Pluto moves so slowly, that means that it would spend several months in the proximities of the position of his Venus... Close enough to mean that all women born within months from my birthday will have the same aspect... Does it mean that there are potential hundreds of women who are his twin soul??? I know some of those women and they are not even close to be compatible with him... He always said I was unique, that there was something special he couldnīt explain that made me different and in tune with him... What other aspects in a composite chart can identify a Twin Soul? Hi steelrose, Do I have your stats? if I don't sweetie please leave them. Linda Goodman was such a great astrologer that if she said that I would believe it. There is a big difference between a comparison and a composite chart. In a comparison you compare Natal charts, in this case many, many people will have the same Pluto placement. In a Composite this will not be so. A composite is based on midpoints (a halfway point) If your Venus is 5 degrees Aries and his is 5 degrees Gemini then your composite Venus will be 5 Taures (halfway mark) Plutos power boggles the mind, and because its a regenerative planet this could very well be so. Hi lala!!! Thanks for the info... Itīs good to know the difference between composite and comparison chart... I used the wrong term then Linda used the comparison chart in Relationship Signs, I got the name mixed up... Someone in another forum says that in synastry we only consider +/- 1 degree so it is more unlikely to get aspects... Are we going to get information about synastry in this forum? That would be great! Here you have my stats: 19 September 1977 Madrid, Spain by 2:45 pm ( sorry, my mum not very accurate ) Thanks!!! IP: Logged |

I would like to add that Linda was not the only author of Relationship Signs. Much of it (though none of us really knows how much) was completed after Linda died. This is why {i]Relationship Signs[/i] does not resonate with some of us as strongly as her other books. Also, I don't believe you can look only to a singular aspect between two people for the answer to the Soul Mate/Twin Soul question. IP: Logged |

Thanks Trillian!I didnīt know Linda didnīt write the whole of it... However, I did feel her touch in many of the interpretations... Maybe, now that you say that, the rest of the book, how to draw a birth chart and so on, didnīt feel like hers... Anyway... What other signs would point to your Twin Soul? Should they occur all together? IP: Logged |

Yeah, the Venus-Pluto thing has me pretty iffy, because the person with the Venus placement would then find a soul mate in all of the people of that entire generation?IP: Logged |

Well, steelrose...I am not an astrologer. Only a student. And part of my answer, from the very pragmatic side of me, is that when it comes to the romantic sort of ultimate soul mate/twin soul to which I think you refer...well, I don't think you'll need astrology to show you that. You will know in your hearts. Everyone you meet is your soulmate. But there has been much discussion and divisiveness between astrologers about just what might indicate strong love ties and/or romantic soul mates. Personally, I think one of the strongest indicators is tight Saturn ties. Sometimes the hardest aspects between A's Saturn and B's personal planets are like Crazy Glue! Some astrologers believe one of the keys is Eros and Psyche, and how they interact between two people. If you don't know where yours are, you can do a chart that includes them (they are asteroids) at www.astro.com. It's a great site for free charts! We have discusssed this article here at LL a few times: http://astrology.about.com/od/beyondsunsigns1/a/soulmate.htm?terms=astrology+soul+mate At the end of the day, only what lies in your heart matters.
