I guess I loved him more, but he has always been the one to reach out. And Just when I am ready to put it all behind me he reaches out via sms or email. There is no way he knows what is happening in my life. If we are not meant to be why does he keep popping back into my life. I dreamt of him recently and a day later I heard from him after 5 months. And so bitter was he towards me then that I thought I would never see him again

Whats happening here? What am I supposed to learn from this?

I do feel like he and I have a telepathic connection...but when I try and focus to get him to contact me it doesnt work.

And I wish that my logic wouldnt get in the way...my mind says dont be an idiot, my heart and soul say there is something there

I'd say that it DOES mean something, but as was said by somebody else, I don't think it's meant to be romantic, perhaps a lesson in pride and accepting that when somebody comes into your life, even with a deep connection, you can either just be friends, or walk away, and not feel rejected but enlightened.

I wish you luck, I've definately been there a few times..
