I just did a composite chart for myself and my oldest son. Here is the chart:

Sun-Mercury cazimi conjunct Neptune!

No wonder we have so much fun talking.

It seriously cracks me up how often he says the exact same thing I was going to say. It's uncanny.

Posting "for the record."

Edited to add: D'oh - Ignore what I've just posted. It's a tight Venus/Sun conj.

Merc is in the 3rd, though, and it's (kind of loosely) trine Neptune.

Nice!

I'll add an example to your theory.
I'd posted in Personal Readings ( http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum11/HTML/003360.html ) a question regarding the same thing with my husband.

We say the same thing all the time, will think of the same topic at the same time, even call / text each other at the same time, and we have a tight composite Sun / Merc conjunction:

It's probably the Neptune ladies.

With aspects between Merc/Neptune in synastry/composite, there's a lot of weird telepathy/synchronicity. I don't notice that with only Sun/Merc alone.

^ Yep. There's some more Neptune action going on in our synastry, too, so that makes sense.

Edited to add: Sun/Merc could be responsible for the sheer enjoyment Faith and her son have in conversation, though, right?

Thanks for the replies!

Mockingbird, you and your hubby are lucky! That sounds so fun. My hubby and I also have Sun-Venus conjunct in composite, I'm pretty sure. I'm not sure if we have a psychic connection or we are both just predictable so we know what the other will say.

Alma Sun, thanks for the info about Neptune, I want to go look at some charts of people I thought I had telepathy with now.

I just realized my son's moon is conjunct our composite Neptune. His sun is close to my natal Neptune. Lots of Neptune with us and yet I think that together we perfect sense. LOL!

Oh and his south node is tightly conjunct my natal Mercury. That could be it, too.

I've been telling this to people since he was about four, that our minds just seem to fit together. It's nice to see astrology backing that up.
