I'll not bore you with my details but I had been in a relationship which ended 3yrs ago. after that I gave up on the idea of love. I was sure I'll never feel these things again. This guy likes me for about 4yrs but he never told me. Then he came up last year and he told me he loves me. I told him I wanted to take it slow but he rushed and I ended up breaking contact with him, hurting him to extremes. After that another man popped up and i had a really short-term affair of 1 month. After that, on OUR birthday (Suns are conjunct) I rang the guy from last year up said I wanted to apologise for my behavior. we have been in touch since then, slow. The day venus turned retro, precisely that day, he cleared his intentions, his intensity , his love. I was like inside water, couldn't feel anything for two days and then I said the L word. Yes, I did. I was super scared that the relationships that start during venus retro do not last longest.

On side note, I had met this guy only once or twice back in 2008 when i was already in the other relationship. So I decided to meet him last Sat. we had a date and you won't believe what happened. This guy is typical Mars energy, typical Aries, masculine guy, but trust me I'm in love. Totally, deeply and i don't know how, when and where, but it has happened.

We had our second date today and , well we held hands and it was THE MOST AMAZING feeling on earth. I have been with another Aries guy in past and we were physically quite close, but THIS, this was beyond anything I have ever experienced. His intensity was just the same. it was like our hands are made for each other, like our hands were making love, I've never experienced a touch like that. I just checked my transits and Venus Tr is precisely at exact degree conjunct my Natal Venus.

My question; what is this intense feeling, he's not the first guy who has touched me, then what is happening? I'm like crazy about him since our first date. I'm unable to focus on my exam, my project, my life anything, he and his words are the only thing that is on my mind. what is happening? Is this what everyone calls love? *heart eyes*

EDIT: just when I was going today with him, I saw 11:11 on clock. its said when you see this, its like a "go ahead" sign from universe.

also the 11:11 sign is connected with twinflame/soulmate unions too. maybe the retro Venus just woke you up, made you subconsciously remember a past life link?

also i remember that sometimes an important transit/progression needs to happen to get things going. like maybe your progressed DC is conjunct one of his natal planets? or some Vertex / or Sun/Moon midpoints being activated (transits/progressions) in your chart that weren't active in the past. the fact that your natal Venus is in Gemini could also be the reason the retrograde Venus activated things for you!

i would only be worried if you have some bad Neptune aspects going on in synastry/composite, but otherwise just relax & enjoy the happiness!! lol

I'm really having bad luck in love. We had a small misunderstanding last night and he is not talking to me. I tried all day long he just doesn't want to talk to me. It was him who annoyed me first and now he is being stubborn. I'm just not lucky in love.
