So just how much of a woman's life should be shared with a committed partner?

I tend to want to share most of my life, what's going on in my day, my happiness, my sorrows, my pleasures and pains.....

I like to lean on my man for emotional comfort, but I M questioning this, recently.

My man is my best friend, why shouldn't I? I have always had more male friends than girlfriends so it is quite natural for me to share life with a man.

My boyfriend doesn't seem to appreciate this about me. Always joking even to the point of hurtful "jokes" which I seem to be the brunt of, he just doesn't recognize that I, while not being needy and certainly not clingy, would love to have his emotional support which I seldom get. (unless it's a man fixeruper issue, you know all black and white)

Things are complicated by a very long distance relationship as well.

I began to research and I discovered that alot of women feel the same I do, wanting to share but end up sharing with female friends....

Opinions, experiences?

Thanks ya'all

Terri

Terri...
My own experience is.....when you or any woman is too available....emotionally and otherwise.....men tend to go into a cave. You haven't mentioned the sun sign of your boyfriend,.,,,but whatever it is.....try being mysterious....and elusive, not to mention a wee bit detached. Suddenly they are curious and want to know more!!

You are better off sharing with a girlfriend...

Libra, he a Virgo n me a Pisces.

The fish is almost too elusive for him at most times, not to mention 1200 miles apart.

I have told him once and for all, (due to his constant "jokes" that I choose to believe in nothing he says, and I do understand keeping it " light n fun."

Believe me if you were to ask him I am terribly unavailable, I have shut down.
