I am mainly referring to synastry chart and analysis. Did you ever get your hopes up upon seeing a good synastry chart, or seeing soulmate aspects, even soul bonds aspects only to be disappointed in the end, and to realize that the other person doesn't feel the connection at all. Did you ever felt like astrology was confirming your gut feelings but in reality, things were way different. How did you handle it? Did it put what you had earned into perspective or did you just overlook the whole experience ? IP: Logged |

I just let it go and leave it up to fate. Because if it was meant to be, then it will be.I have this problem where if I try for something, it never ends well or I never succeed. If I don't try, things always seem to fall into my lap unexpectedly. ------------------

I agree with HappyCap..this has alot to do with my Karma and how the law of manifestation works but I have the same philosophy on that HappyCap...I keep my ego out of it..and let it happen as it should, when I do, I find I learn so much more and suffer so much less. lol@Ueharaa...
I dont think we have met before on here. But namaste dear one. Hope all is well with you. This post got my attention for some reason, and there is such sadness in what you have wrote.
I have found that it is best to ignore the astrology of a relationship if it is just starting especially if it is romantic. The people must have time to define what they feel together and then it is much better to map out and piece together the foundation they discovered and built upon.
Otherwise I tend to find things don't always go the way I see them...I think its because the relationship is never its highest potential, which is what we read when we see it in a chart, in order for it to be its highest potential these two humans have to be strong enough and aware enough to see what the chart says they have and maintain the highest vibration to manifest it, and that is rare. The instance that taught me that was quite interesting, I handled it by realizing that I was allowing my ego to get in the way by looking at our synastry before I lived our connection. What makes me think I am powerful enough to control fate because I see a possibility in a chart? That possibility you see in the chart is one of a million and who am I to say that I know what that millionth is?
So yes I did put it into perspective...you should never overlook an experience until you have sufficiently understood why you had it. Otherwise you are living as a blind man.
So again I say live the relationship first and then try to make sense of it later after the foundation has been established and the house built. The first thing you do when you move in is find out what kind of house you bought...and you do it together. This keeps you from wearing your rose colored glasses if you have a pair.

and it seems we have a lot of connections with a lot of different people. I am coming to see that aspects might just tell of a few hilights and good moments between two people. I guess you have to study your chart with people who don't interest you very much and see what is there too. I'm a bit disillusioned, which is why I clicked on this thread.  IP: Logged |

Uehaara, this is such a deep, thoughtful question. Yes, now and then a few wonderful, powerful aspects appear in a synastry chart, but the other person just doesn't seem to feel it as much as you (or I ) seem to do. It can be a huge let-down for the astrologically aware person. IP: Logged |

yes, what louisb said... the synastry will be amazing but the other person does not seem to feel it. An extremely hot person like yourself, Mars baby, does not have this problem.  xo What bothers me is how strong it will be for me but not him. So, I will study the aspects to see if maybe it is just stronger on MY side... you know, the old "in a Venus/Pluto aspect, who is obsessed... Venus or Pluto?" question. Yeah yeah, different sights say different things... but it seems like I'm the one who gets obsessed whether I'm Venus OR Pluto. He is not obsessed with me. Either synastry only works with hot people or men don't give a shi... uh crap if you have connections as long as you look like a model. No offense, babealicious. Yeah, I've got some 8th house flavor, which might make me more obsessive, and clearly my Saturn in Gemini in the 5th house means I have some sort of relationship karma or something... but I don't know... I have studied synastry for almost a decade and I am clearly missing SOMETHING.

Yeah, I know what you mean. That guy I told you about, said that he has dated models, and they tended to be neurotic - that his girlfriend isn't a model, but in her own way she's stunning (even if others might not be impressed). At the moment, I just feel petty. I have no proof of that - I have proof of men thinking I'm sexy, and that's about it. If they say anything more than that, then they're looking for attention. I agree with your assessment, ueharaa.In real life, things do happen as you have mentioned. Keep in mind that knowledge is power. And those who have it and use it seem to be happier people because of it. Synastry Astrology is a tool used to express the potential in possible relationships. The results given do not represent an absolute given. This is very much like businesses that use statistics to help them figure out the best avenues to take, to make the best profit possible. The statistics, like Synastry Astrology, do not predict an absolute given. But, the users in both cases do find and understand their outcomes far better than those who wish to just take things by chance. Yes I did have this happen to me and it was really difficult. I actually felt quite a bit of shame about it because I ignored my inner wisdom and ability to trust and love myself and instead, looked for external validation of what I wished was happening. It was hard to deal with when I realized it was all constructed in my own head and suddenly the chart seemed empty and meaningless. However, on the other side now, I see that our insticts, the language of our hearts and minds and our sense of self are far more important than any other guide or rule about love and life. I feel like I learned a massively important lesson. I know now also, as mentioned above, that synastry really should only be used to help understand a relation that you are already fully immersed in and communicative about. Synastry is a powerful tool for understanding a relationship, but it is not the only factor in forming one. It has to be happening for the synastry to make sense. if someone falls into your life with ease they are meant to and if not no matter what your gut tells you leave it be.
