Hi everyone!
Well, after years of struggling with dating and no success (one marriage and divorce in my 20's)..at 43, I think I have found someone that is right. We clicked instantly from our first date, and have been together ever since. Neither of us had an issue with commitment, and were exclusive early on, and everything seemed to flow.
Now, my mother lives with me..and it is turning out that she is going to be moving out of state to be with my younger brother. It will be strange, and a little lonely, but being that I have my relationship, I don't worry too much.
The thing is this. I already told my boyfriend that I really don't like "living with" someone. I just have a bad vibe about it, and if something is really truly meant to be (a couple) then I want to be married. He doesn't have an issue with it (or so he says).
To that end, I'm trying to get a bead on both our compatibility and how that will translate long term? I'm not unhappy, I love him very much...but if this is just going to be another relationship that goes nowhere, it may benefit me to just move with my mother and start fresh in a new location.
My birthday is 10-21-69, his is 01-31-69. I would honestly appreciate any insight! As far as a boyfriend goes, he is wonderful. He is very loving, very thoughtful..we share a lot of common interests. He gives me no reason to not trust him. He is not super romantic, but, as I've gotten older, I recognize that me needing that isn't a good gauge of a true relationship..so I can deal with that.IP: Logged |
