im thinking this has to do with his last relationship. maybe in his last one he moved too quickly and got involved too easily?
as a male with the same combination, its very easy to lose myself in a person and to do it QUICKLY. venus in pisces loves unconditionally and will give you all. aries moves fast (as you know). maybe hes trying to prevent what happened to him in his last relationship.
