The twinflame subject as always fascinated me. I am not a native english speaker and in my native language there is a word similar to this one but the actual translation in english is soulmate.
I am not that much into label (well I kind of am but not with that kind of subject) but still since the experience that surrounds a soulmate is so different from the one that happens with a twinflame, I guess I'd like to know how to distinguish one from the other.
I admit that after being amazed when I discovered the twinflame "concept" I became a bit skeptical about it. I kind of felt that it was a way to prevent people from truly moving on from bad, painful emotional experience (partner that left without you knowing why, or unrequited, impossible love due to one being married, age difference etc..). I still think that the love that matters is the one that sticks around. And yet I have to reckon that the time spent with someone doesn't say much about how much they can affect you. SO what do you think about twinflames?
And mainly what are the signs you've met yours? Especially, are there some synastry aspects that can be seen as a twinflame "signature"? Is there karma? Is it necessarily a painful experience? IP: Logged |

Twinflames...interesting theory but I'm rather skeptical about it. Even if such a thing exists, I think there's no point in wondering whether someone is your twinflame or not. You'll never know it anyway. Unless out of the blue you start reading each other's minds. That would mean something I guess  ------------------

Like you, although I find he concept very interesting I am a bit skeptical about it.
But I don't want to know who is my twinflame or not. I don't really care about this. Like I said I think that the love that matters is the one that lasts. And people who matter are the ones who stick by you.
I don't really care about what kind of "soul" relationship I have with people close to me because it wouldn't change what it is. And what it is is what counts right? But I still would like to know, out of curiosity. And also to get an idea of what type of experience this might be. IP: Logged |

ueharra experiencing meeting soulmate is like out of linda goodman love signs book. thier voice sounds familar and thier eyes are the windows of the soul.and it is love at first sight not lust at first sight. i didnt see my soulmate but i heard his voice. and his voice was so familar that i wanted to find out who was talking. and i couldnt see him behind the book shelves. but i walked up to him because his voice not only sounded familiar but i was attracted to his voice. and this has never happened before. and of course the windows of soul his eyes i was shocked the first time we met. and the second time i didnt see his face but it was his voice again. and the third time we met it was the first time that we looked into each others eyes after the shock of first meeting each other the first time. and it was love at first sight. the first time i walked up and looked into his eyes i thought he was the most beautiful soul in the world. but i thought f**k he doesnt even know me. and the second time i wanted to pull his cap off but it was his voice i recognised even though i didnt see his face. the second time but the third time we met we looked into each others eyes and it was love at first sight for me. i was in love with him. and he was shocked again.IP: Logged |

with soulmates there can be a karmic mission. but pluto needs to be angular to saturn in a trine. and it can be painful for one soulmate to be left behind and be temporarily seperated from thier soulmate. and for the other soulmate they can have painful experiences when karmic mission is forgotten and they can have a hard childhood. but they will try to find each other but sometimes it takes a karmic mission for them to be togethier again. @ Saronna i was a bit skeptical at first until i started doing my own research. I'm a amateur at most. I was wondering if you could take a look at my synastry chart in Personal Readings topic "I believe I found my Twin Flame" I really would appreciate this. I even had a psychic tell me that we share a soulmate connection. I really appreciate this, thanks! I know this is a special connection. He has come to me in several dreams communicating with me about what's going on in his life, through mutual friends I actually find out that what he tells me is really what's going on with him, he has told me how he feels about me in a dreams, there was this one dream that involved snakes and he came to me in that dream as well. One of the most bizarre dreams that I ever had with him I was told by the God that I needed to go through this cave that the man I love is there. I go into this cave it's pitch black and out of nowhere I see this light flickering as I get closer and closer to the light the light gets brighter and brighter to my surprise its him holding a candle and he's dressed in white. I was so shocked because I expecting to see my husband, not him. Then there was this dream where I got shot in my lower abdomen on the right side. I looked down and realized that I had been shot and was blooding. I collapsed. He arrives out of nowhere and is attempting to revive me. I feel myself getting weak and he's pleading to me saying I can't loose you again, he tells me that he loves me what is crazy I'm barley holding at this point I'm getting weak, his voice is getting fainter by the minute. He keep saying that he couldn't live if he lost me again. He puts his head and my chest and started praying. Out the blue I feel life rushing back into me. When I come too, I ask him what happens he tells me that I have been shot the crazy part, I tell him no I haven't. The blood is still on my shirt but there is no gunshot wound. The wound has healed. Also, when I think of him sometimes my chest starts to hurt or I get headaches for no apparent reason. I can't explain this and some may even think I'm crazy, but you can't make this type of stuff up. IP: Logged |

I agree! The connections you have that don't go away over long periods of time are the ones you pay attention to. When I first met Miss Scorpio, it was really love at first sight for me. I remember wondering what it was I felt for her. Then I'd be riding in my moms car and the radio would be on and I'd listen to the lyrics of the songs and be like "thats how I feel about her! So I love her!". That was 25 years ago and my love for her hasn't ever went away.
