(insert whatever your idea of "reality" in a young relationship would be..) at what point would you go: STOP! This became real too quickly for me and I am out"? You do love person in question.

If it becomes real, you deal with the real. That doesn't mean compromising your morals and having sex or running off to get "married" in a legal sense or hooking your lives together before you learn about how messy they are or if they do their fair share in a partnership. I think you talk and learn about each other and take the next step and each hard thing that comes up, you see if you can have faith and trust one another and get past the hard parts or if things seem to fall apart and people begin to act inappropriately and things become too difficult for your forgiveness level. Your forgiveness level increases as you grow. You will help each other grow. That is what the connection is always about, I think.
