I can relate to some extent. A lot of what we believe/explore of Linda's teachings are beyond what most people are willing to even consider and sometimes it seems more poetry than fact... but that is the magic and beauty of it. Most people think the beauty and magic of falling in love is some dupe of nature to cause people to breed and the species to continue... there are factual studies on this subject to prove this point. But some of us Know there is something Beyond the facts and figures of the material world so we cast off to shores unknown. We find some lands of magic and enchantment and some of illusion and disappointment but if we don't have some belief in the first place, the Mists of Avalon will not part for us and we will be forever in mundane reality only. So, yes, I notice an awful lot of young LL readers thinking they've found their "Twin Flame" and I notice some knowledgeable Knowflakes who seem to meet a new "Twin Flame" every relationship. The skeptic in me rolls her eyes... but the Knowflake in me tries to reserve judgement and keep an open mind. One out of ten of these young people might actually have found their Twin Flame. Maybe the veterans really are getting closer and closer!! Maybe it is currently beyond my understanding and my brain is approaching them as someone who scoffs at astrology might view ME and my studies. It is hard to say and I go back and forth... but the bottom line is that I would rather believe in beauty and magic. I already firmly believe in energetic connections with people and know that energy continues on, so reincarnation and meeting people lifetime after lifetime feels right to me as well. I believe firmly in "soul friends" or soul "mates" who come into our lives to help us and teach us... so believing there is one who we originally separated from isn't too big of leap from that and actually makes sense mathematically if you are thinking about cell divisions when you think of energetic soul divisions. Therefore... yes, I think it can seem silly. Yes, I think sometimes it really IS silly. But honestly, we all have to go through that to grow and the journey itself is what creates the greatest growth. Feeling like you've found a karmic connection isn't silly at all. It really IS a karmic connection. Our entire lives are arguably karmic connections. We may deeply wish it was the final happy ever after that's been drilled into our little girl heads since birth... but hey, if we need to let that out here and have friends wish it for us right back and go through whatever we need to go through in the safety of each others understanding arms... until we have to face the harsh "reality" well, that really is the Spirit of Linda land. Maybe by believing we will propel those dreams a little further into coming true. After all... if our partner firmly believed he was our twin soul and we firmly believed he was our twin soul... then that would be our collective reality together.

After reading your post I realized that people seing their twin flame in everyone who drives them crazy annoy me more than the theory itself. No one can prove or count it out but some of the believers' attitude is a little unhealthy. Well, if it makes their life more complete...then let them be obsessive and perhaps delusional about it 
Personally I think the soul mate theory is way more probable.

I've got Jupiter conjunct Neptune in Sag opposing Saturn in the 5th house so I can be the Queen of Delusion. My Merc in the 8th house encourages my obsessions, so I am as guilty as any on this front. I have really beat myself up about this and in between blaming myself and/or blaming "the stars" a funny thing always happens. I learn some lesson or bring some person into my life who changes me in an important way.
I guess it is all about tolerance and accepting that people have different paths and different lessons. That view isn't logical though. It is something beyond comprehension it seems. How do we reconcile the path of a serial killer? The conversation then goes full circle and we debate Free Will and Determinism and that is where things get fuzzy for even the most logical of minds. Again, when we reach this point, I prefer to believe in a collective higher force/intelligence for good as often as I am strong enough to Believe.
It makes for a better ride.When I talk/type to you, it is like I am arguing with my own Cappy moon/AC when I am on a negative swing in life. Your quote cracks me up.  lol IP: Logged |

You have no permission to laugh at me  You know, I can be delusional too and I'm a hopeless dreamer (Sun conj Neptune woohoo!) but this case just hurts my brain cells.Alright, gotta go look for my twin flame ------------------
