This song will always be associated with the Scorp.. rest his memory. He almost made a comeback into my heart, thank goodness it didn't happen. It wasn't the healthiest of relationships. Yes, despite me playing hard to get, he always had me wrapped around his finger.

I've just read a book that has come a little late. Wish I'd read it a while ago, it could have put me on the right track and in an empowered position from the start:

"Why men like b******, From Doormat to Dreamgirl" by Sherry Agrov.

Very humourous and anecdotal about women who 'give' too much or overcompensate under the mistaken notion of being openly honest. Basically, men being genetically programmed to be hunters, tend to wrap themselves around the fingers of women who are secure within themelves, edgy and consequently less 'giving'. The examples of what constitutes edgy are illuminating!

"Iris" suddenly crossed my path shortly before I was off to see "Hamlet", and for some weird reason it has been playing in the back of my mind.

This and THIS song here, which was the last song I heard before I had to go to hte theatre. lol

I even remember how I felt. It is startling and creepy how some, totally unimportant, moment can get edged into your mind forever, complete with visual, acustic and sensual memory.
In a way it sometimes feels like a part of me, in some parallel existence, is still in that moment. Weird to think about it like that. Just a few moments in my life.

Of course agree with ScorpionAZ, Blackbird's song is perfect. A colleague of mine had it as a ring tone in reference to his wife. Made me sigh, it must be nice to be loved like that.. (though to be honest, I like verbal communication! )
