When it comes to me, I'm most fascinated with the love between unrelated people whether it's platonic or romantic. It's quite magical. One day two strangers, sometimes from the opposite ends of the world, meet and sooner or later this the feeling starts growing. And when it blooms these two people freely bestow each other with love. People who could not care about each other but still do. Isn't lovely?
Ahhh, that was so cheesy

Okay, if you want the whole story...I just saw that poor woman crying, not the messy face. It SO reminded me of myself at my daughters ball game last night. When they played "The Star Spangled Banner" and it got to that part where it gives you cold chills and you can't help but begin to cry? I know, talk about cheesy, but there it is... IP: Logged |

Most people are always looking for a connection. I don't feel like anyone wants to turn around when they're 40 45 50 and go, "oh I haven't had anyone to share my life with or share their life with me." Love is definitely a very unique concept. It's something that is nurtured and grown. It is not easy to understand why someone loves someone else because their relationship is so unique. Some people I guess are less interested or concerned with finding love or having it be an important part of their lives. ------------------ Learn lots. Don't judge. Laugh for no reason. Be nice. Seek Happiness. Follow your dreams. IP: Logged |

I guess that I found the silently strong and deep kind of slow growing love the most fascinating. The kind that is built on little subtle things, touching our souls bit by bit, awakening to the beauty and joy of life and love for the world, through the bits that happens between two people. Little things that makes each other smile and warms our heart, making us better people. The kind of love that grows by years, knowing each other intimately even if it's calm romance of daily routine. Silent admiration and fondness for each other. People growing old yet the affection grows dearly, bit by bit. It warms my heart whenever I see old couples walk hand by hand. Me and my husband also likes to walk hand by hand, even thought sometimes my Aries side is impatient with that lol. But hopefuly we will walk hand by hand even when we are old. IP: Logged |

Cappy It is lovely. Universal, spiritual love fascinates me and I'd love to work on it to become more accepting of myself and the world and people around me... but it's not easy.
Romantic love makes me sad.
Actually, "human" love in general makes me sad simply because it's so imperfect. I'm an idealist, what can I do.

Just to answer the initial questionLove between man and woman in which erotic/aesthetic experience is part of the overall spiritual experience, the kind that offers solutions to existential anxiety once and for all. Being intimately familiar with it, can guarantee that it's the best thing in the world IP: Logged |

I'm interested in all types of love. Even when I was really little it fascinated me. I guess thats why I'm kinda into psychology, then again I AM a scorpio------------------ Alice: "Why are you upside down?" Absalom(blue caterpillar): "I have come to the end of this life." i'm currently fascinated by wartime couples who are still alive and still married albeit half dead but together none the less. i just love reading their stories, gimme the fuzzy wuzzies my *favourite* type of love is definately the good ol' meet by chance-hit by a thunderbolt- marry two days later-live in each others pockets-grow old together-cark it within five minutes of each other kinda love. that sort of constant togetherness would drive me up the wall but its nice to know others lived that way and were perfectly happy IP: Logged |
