I dont really want to do this but I know I am at the point where I need to. I need to know if a soul mate connection can be severed without any severe reprocussions. I have known this guy for a little over 3 years and the connection between us wont let me move on. We can literally sense each others feelings and when something is wrong with the other. I have never had a connection like this with anyone. Not even with my kids. He has been in and out of mmy life and now all of a sudden is saying his feelings are gone just like that and wants to be friends. But when I try to talk to him as friends HE is the one that always turns the conversation to flirting and acting like everything is normal. I know his feelings havent changed and I know he knows they haven't changed. But I cant do this anymore and knowing how he feels but that he wont do anything about it is driving me nuts. The worst part is having this connection and the fact that we have never actually met. Its all been online. And like I said I have never had a connection with anyone else like this before but I cant do this anymore. I dont even know if it can be severed.

Trust me. I have been there!! You just walk away. Hard to do easy to say. But try to do it and don't look back, ever.

It's hard to walk out of something intense, but he doesn't seem to be that into you, or be able to have a mature relationship without mind games or selfishness. If he is mature he wouldn't play like that, knowing that you have feelings for him; and if he is really that into you then he would have been with you and not say that he doesn't like you anymore (or not sure of it).

Relationships happens for a reason, fated or not, it's important to learn the lessons. If you learn the lessons then you are free; and then the lesson here might be about you treasure your self more and not allow someone to do this kind of thing to you (not accepting a relationship that is not fully committed to you as you are to him in feelings). We can love someone, but love ourselves too that we would not accept something that would make us miserable.

Knowing that he does not fully care for you and is rather being selfish and immature, you need to walk away yourself and not allow this to continue. He either is into you fully as you are into him, and be sure of his feelings, or he doesn't deserve you nor a serious adult relationship.

Also, please don't take me wrongly for saying this (and I apologize if I'm wrong since I don't really know you in the real life so I'm just assuming), but you mentioned that you never meet him, so it might be an illusion since it's easier to idealize and present our best selves when we don't interact in the real life. He might not be what you expected when you actually spend long enough time with him in the real life. And then if he is already like that at this initial stage, it might be worse in the long run.

Don't enable this, when we enable others for giving less concern and respect, then they'd continue or get worse.

I hope that you can see things clear soon as it is not easy to live with such intensity.

If it was something as simple as we never met it wouldnt be an issue and there have been multiple people I have met and walked away from online. The thing is the connection we have that is not letting me go. I know his feelings havent changed and thats why I need to find out how to sever this connection we have. I have never had a connection like this with anyone. Not even my children. All I know is not talking to him isnt working. I just dont know how to sever it

If I were in your position I'd try using a poppet. Here's what they are and how to make them:
http://paganwiccan.about.com/od/poppetmagic/p/Poppet_Intro.htm

More:
http://paganwiccan.about.com/od/poppetmagic/ss/Build_A_Poppet.htm

I had epic success from using a poppet spell once though it was for something different. In that case I wasn't able to have anything of the person so I instead I put in things that symbolized the power over me (I'd have probably included that as well even if I did have personal effects of the other person). Somehow using astrological symbolism (such as drawing it on the poppet) might be worth considering, too.

On the waning moon (note New Years is new moon, perhaps a really good time but otherwise I'd wait until it was waning again before trying this) and then burn the poppet while projecting any bond or desire into it. I'd come up with some chant, too, probably original but something like this might work, too:

Would using his zodiac symbol work? I think this is exactly what I was looking for.

Yeah. But I was thinking that whatever was in synastry with your chart that creates this bond between you would be the best to include on it in order to break away the power of the stars themselves. If it were me I'd only include his symbols that are relevant.

It's not important. If you don't already know them then skip that part.
