Hello all! I have a questions for my fellow Knowflakes...I am a Sagittarius with either an Aries rising OR Taurus rising, as different sites tell me different things, I am guessing they both were on the cusp at my birth? At any rate, I've been talking to an Aries man that I am very attracted to...however...here's my problem, I am CLUELESS to this man!

He's hot one minute, cold the next! In one day alone he texted 300 times no joke. But then he will retreat and ignore the heck out of me. I am so confused by his actions that it is driving me crazy. I *thought* he was into me, but now I'm not so sure. I do not know his coordinates at birth tho...just his bday, which is 3-23-1955. He is quite a bit older than me, my bday is 12-16-1970 so I also *thought* game playing would be over and done with at his age but I'm not sure about that either.

Can anyone shed some much needed light on this please? I just need advice to determine if I need to move on or hang in there. I really do like him, he's handsome, caring, successful etc. But I am so on the fence about him.

Thank you!

One of my favorite non-astrological relationship books is Men are From Mars and Women are from Venus. If the book is taken symbolically and you read it as "People with a strong Masculine energy chart or who are currently expressing an aspect of themselves which ruled by a Masculine sign are from MARS, and People with predominantly feminine chart or who are currently most expressing an aspect of themselves ruled by a Feminine sign are from Venus" then you can get a GREAT DEAL OF BENEFIT from this book.

An Aries man, for example, is FROM MARS. That's an easy one. This book will tell you that men will initially come on strong and fast (much like Aries with a goal in mind) and then will back away once he begins to feel wrapped up in the feminine energy or "too soft". He has to back up out of the love fest in order to reclaim his masculine energy and feel independent and "manly" again. *looks around nervously for the Gender Police because I said "manly"

Anyway.... he'll be back if you don't chase him. ESPECIALLY IF YOU DON'T CHASE HIM. Because Aries first and foremost looooooooves a good chase. So trot away, Sag girl. Do your thang. Pretend like he doesn't exist and he'll come track you down. Give him the adventure of his life. He's only got the one left, you see.... if you're the one.

Thank you so much and I certainly will look for that book!

I hope I am the one because I find myself thinking about him constantly, which kinda drives me batty LOL. Mostly because I have no idea if the feeling is mutual.

I have dated some over the past 5 years and it's been a harsh reality for me. I want a companion, to do things with and to be there for me and vice versa. I don't necessarily want to be married again, if so it would be my 3rd marriage and this last one really worked me over in bad ways. So, I am terrified of marriage and of rejection to be honest. Terrified. I'm better than I was the past few years but I'm a work in progress.

I just want to grab him and say "I'm RIGHT in front of you! See me?? Right here!" LOL....

It really depends on his other placements but Aries is notorious for taking things fast (300 texts) and he is obviously interested... but it takes time for all people to honestly get to know one another in my opinion. Even if you know everything about astrology and know their chart frontwards and backwards, the actually energy is expressed in a variety of ways and the different aspects of self combine differently. The current planetary positions also affect individuals. Some astrological weather is just better for sitting back and doing some self reflection, rather than barging ahead.
I advise you chew slowly and enjoy every minute of this new adventure. And let him know you are enjoying have him in your life. Do your own thing too, and he'll be around often enough if it's right.

Lol I'd have a heart-attack if a man texted me 300 messages in one day. That's too much for me and I'm aries with a gemini moon, I'd feel like my space is being invaded. Did you meet him online or in real life? Please don't become too invested in him too soon. Take your time and watch his actions not words. Go out with him more and get to know HIM not what he could represent in the future.

It was a bit much to be texted that much...he went on to text me like that for a week. Then, he fell silent, so I was worried something had happened to his terminally ill father or to him since I was out of town, so I texted him a few times asking if he was ok etc. I expressed to him that I was upset to not hear from him considering the amount I had previously. A few days after that, he texted me and blew up at me for texting my feelings. Saying that not texting daily would not kill me. WHAT? He blasted me pretty much and every text felt like a punch in the gut to me. He said I was immature, insecure and my feelings weren't relevant.

So, I let it go...then he started talking to me again at work...we work together. Not in the same dept thank God. Anyway, then it just went to nothing. Which I don't understand at all, but I hardly ever do anymore.

I have admitted defeat and retreated back into hiding. It's a lot safer this way. I have just never met a man like him before, he was so charismatic and interested etcetc and then went from that to nothing. And I was starting to really like him but I guess he is a jerk like the rest that I've encountered since my divorce.

He sounds a bit unbalanced to me (also saying you are insecure, etc is just downright mean). And insinuating that YOU are the immature one? A grown man of nearly 60 years old sending hundreds of texts a day (and boy I'd find that VERY annoying and intrusive personally) should know better. I'm 49. Our generation functioned perfectly well before mobile phones, texting, emails so it sounds like he's playing games. Sorry, just my opinion.

I had a 3 year relationship with an Aries man. I didn't find him particularly blow-hot, blow-cold. Sure he pursued me a bit to start with, but was pretty cool about it and we ended up having a really good and laid back relationship.

I am guessing he was game playing as well. Which doesn't settle well with my poor Sag heart worn on the outside at all times it seems...

I'm sure he was attracted to you JustAmanda, he just sounds, I dunno, like he has to call the shots or something. I would have given him the benefit of the doubt if he'd simply responded to your enquiry whether everything was ok by saying something like "oh yes I'm fine, I've just been a bit busy/stressed with work", but his nasty reaction suggests a prickly character who can give it when it suits him but can't take it.

Hmmm...I'd check his Mars sign and relevant aspects to it.

He has Mars in Taurus opposing Saturn in Scorpio and squaring Pluto in Leo.

Mars in Taurus moves slowly and deliberately; preferring to take its time.

Saturn in Scorpio suggests a difficulty /fear in attaining deep intimacy.

The opposition suggests a swing from being stable, calm ,affectionate(Taurus Mars) to being fanatical, intense and so emotionally restrained(Scorpio). A swing in the way one projects himself; one way and then another.

Pluto in Leo is confident, self-assured and "claims" what they want.

The square of Mars to Pluto suggests the innate need to move slowly and methodically(Taurus) but also a tension on throwing caution to the wind and living through ones' heart (Leo).

There is often inner conflict with regards to how he should express the two energies.

The Moon in Pisces/Sun in Aries suggests a mix of a person who is a lot more sensitive than his Sun sign may initially suggest.

But again, his Venus in Aquarius(Love for conversation and intellectual banter) finds itself conflicting with Mars in Taurus(touch me, feel me, have me).

Venus wants platonic friendship whilst Mars wants physical passion.

It also doesn't find much support from Saturn in Scorpio-who fears opening up too much and letting "secrets" out that may undermine him.

Saturn in Scorpio wants to guard its weaknesses whilst Aquarius prefers on being candid and open.

Pluto in Leo opposing it adds to the tension; making it very difficult to stay consistent in ones affections. One minute the person is friendly , conversational and platonic(Aquarius).

Whilst in other instances, he can be bold, forthcoming, demonstrative and passionate-sweeping you completely off your feet(Pluto in Leo).

He has a grand trine in water; Moon(Pisces), Saturn(Scorpio and Jupiter(Cancer)-which can make him a highly emotional and sensitive person.

Be patient. He has a lot of passion(Mars in Taurus) but is not sure when to express it or doesn't know the appropriate times to let it out(Venus in Aquarius squaring Mars in Taurus).

For now, do what feels comfortable to him and go for the friendship angle.

Thank you Aries23!!! Thank you so very much!

So far I've not heard a word from him NOR seen him since about Feb 11th...which is highly incredible considering we work in the same building...I'm starting to believe it may be a Divine Intervention, since my sister, who also works here, sees him almost daily.

Who can tell?! LOL
