So I tried cutting an attachment cord with someone who does not have mutual feelings for me. I wanted to set him and myself free. But when I visualized the cords in my hands and tried to cut them with my pendulum, I couldn't cut it fully. It cut most of the cord that I visualized, but then in the middle of it, there was a shiny silvery part of the cord that I couldn't cut. I tried over and over to visualize that it has been cut, but then the image of that silver cord kept resurfacing.

What does this mean? I really don't want to be attached to him anymore.

I think it means the obvious.. your attachment felt solid. But silver can be smelted, you just need to apply some more fire your end.

If you don't want to be attached to someone you don't have to be. And if you're finding it difficult to detach maybe look at what HE'S doing in the equation to try to prevent that.
