I..just decided to delete this because I'm upset over something and I need to pray about it instead of venting...IP: Logged |

Sometimes venting helps though. IP: Logged |

lol. Well writing things down always helps clarify how you feel. I should do it more often really, just too lazy! IP: Logged |

I have kept journals since I was around 19 years old...I stopped for a while, then picked up Livejournal, but I have learned over the past few years that I love pen to paper. There is a certain type of paper that I like, it's a notebook that is shiny on the front and I have them in silver and blue haha...and I love how the paper sounds once it's been written on. I have an auditory love of all things...but anyway, I became upset earlier this morning and didn't have the journal with me. I keep at home and write in it almost every night. Mostly about relationships...but the next journal I begin, which will be in about 3 PAGES haha...I'm changing it up and making it a POSITIVE journal. LOL. Full of things that make me HAPPY. Not what I want or who I want or being hurt etcetcetc... I've got to turn my frown upside down LOL! IP: Logged |

Oh that's a good idea, having a positive journal. Maybe I should have one of each, then see how much I write in one compared to the other. That will probably give an indication of how happy or sad I am. lolI think the only problem with keeping a written journal for me personally is I'd be worried something might happen to me then my family would discover my deepest darkest thoughts. Because of this I used to write my thoughts/feelings down, keep the paper for a few days, then re-read it and throw it away. I agree pen to paper rather than an online private journal (or just on your computer) is better though. It's more tangible. I usually express my feelings better in poetry when it comes to relationships. IP: Logged |
