I would find it hard to trust him, you know why? Because when someone seems to be too good to be true, they probably are. Not effin' true, I mean. And not that good, either.

Dunno, there's gotta be fairy-tale like stories out there, we never know! But maybe the guy is desperate for love/attention and tries that with many other women? Playing the perfect guy who's got it all figured out? How do you know he's sincere?

Oh, I know. Natal, synastry & composite are the answer. Look for Neptune. Thank me later.

Here's the thing. I am sure he is genuine in his words/feelings. What I am not sure about, is how far it will go, if it will stand the test of time and "reality".

Aqua/Pisces in general is very idealistic. Add to that some Sag and you get someone who is very romantic and possibly easily carried away into a world of fantasy.

I don't doubt his honesty, and I don't think you can successfully "test" him without losing him in the process, or at least losing some part of the beauty of your connection.

So I wouldn't play in any way.
I definitely think time will do its job very well, and if there's something you need to know, you will eventually know it.

How long have you guys been talking?

Not gonna lie, Pisces in a man, especially Venus or Moon, usually points to someone who falls in love easily. But it doesn't mean it's not real or genuine. They're just very into the idea of having a special someone.

That being said, you both have Mercury in Pisces so I'm sure the connection feels great -- Moon/Mercury especially can be awesome.

I'd go with the flow. Don't fall too fast or too hard, yet. Wait a little. See if there's substance there. Air/Water/Fire... Any Earth in there at all? Mars conjunct Saturn, that sounds quite solid, but well, it's still in Sag. Any other Saturn aspects?

What's going on with Neptune?

Check the transits and progressions as well. It's possible he has a Neptune transit, and maybe you do as well? They can be beautiful but heart-breaking, too.

Yeah I actually know that feeling - kind of like you're talking behind someone's back, that's why I tend to keep my private life to myself, the details at least. But hey, you're not talking sh*t about him, so that's good.

It sounds like he has a solid head on his shoulders. And you two get along so well, that's pretty amazing. Being able to talk to someone openly, without wondering what they'll think or how they'll react, is pretty rare for most people, and it's very valuable.

I can understand your concerns (from a strictly theoretical pov); I think most people would like to have a S.O. that's at least somewhat ambitious, whatever that ambition may be. It's just more attractive and more appealing long-term.

Neptune singleton, then. Such people are very ofen very creative and artistic, many actors and musicians have that one. It may not give much practicality but there's huge potential here, especially for all things Neptunian.

The Mars/Saturn could be very helpful, as well as the Taurus ASC and NN. Taurus ASC's DO seem very stable! They usually have that vibe, and it can be quite appealing. That earthiness. And well, Neptune is in Cap, after all. That actually adds some practicality as well (hopefully).

Personally, that doesn't sound like a super big deal to me, I mean the most important part is how you two get along with each other, all the other things can be worked with... right? lol (ahh forgive my naiveté).

Sometimes people change significantly thanks to the presence of a special someone in their life - they become more productive, more outgoing, more optimistic, etc. (Well there are negatives too, of course, but we'll just forget about them for now.) I think that's especially true for 7H planets in natal and in synastry, they are activated through partnerships and can lie dormant until a close partnership is formed.
