He was unwell since our last date 2 weeks ago, I believe him because I too had the flu a few days after our final date, (We ended up in a hot busy casino) I didn't tell him this as I wanted him to have his 'man flu' moment.

If I initiate the texts he's more than happy to respond with long detailed and witty texts, but the communication is becoming less and less. We have not kissed, or intimate in any sort of way, except for hold hands at our last date. I think he was waiting for me to initiate. But that's not in my character:/

What I want to know if anyone can help is, am I dealing with a shy guy? Or just someone not interested?

He is
Sun - aquarius
Moon - taurus

Venus - pisces
Mars - capricorn

I haven't got his exact birth time just the date

My gut feeling agrees with your first thought of his 'interest waning'. But then there's that other part of me (the female part) that can't help but wonder.... Should I just give it one more shot.

He seems very cautious, we chatted for 3 weeks on this dating ap, he hadn't offered his phone number until after the first date.... Even messaging him 'I'm on my way' had to be done through the ap haha😕
Anyway after the date he messaged me and gave his number.

,also seems like a loner/not many single friends (he's 37yrs) as he does a lot on his own, but mainly stays at home watching documentaries. He seems to have a set routine and habits. And feeling run down, tired, stressed seems to stop him from texting whereas I'm not like that.

I always let the man take the lead. except for asking this one out (3rd date) for a meal then ended up in a casino which seemed he had great fun. But I'm not very forthright with my feelings. I don't touch or initiate hand holding. I'm not a great flirt either for a gemini sun / libra moon

Should I suggest another date (not in my character) or just get on with my life and let him text if he ever feels like it.

As a guy with the same combo what do you think?

Would you be scared off if I were to ask you on another date?
Not sure if he's reading me as not interested, I'm friendly with him but super shy when showing my true feelings, as in I wouldn't reach out for his hand first or kiss him
