My ex boyfriend and I had an argument a year ago because his brother's girlfriend (I will call her Person A) said something like 'shallow' for me. After that, one day his brother attacked me saying I should not be around him or his girlfriend.

It took me a while to get over it, and yes I broke up with the ex. Now, thanks cosmos, I have a better relationship. Now things get interesting here. This new boyfriend has a childhood friend and they are also flatmates. They hold each other very dear, almost like brothers. This flatmate, had a girlfriend whom I did not like very much as she was way too much comfortable openning hersef to others. Just like old me. I found it very interesting because just like the person A who make go through a few painful months, I also did not like someone and now they have broken up.

I suddenly had a 'coming to the terms' situation with this person A, in my mind of course. Now, I am not as mad as I am before, because I have seen myself doing a similar thing, of course I would rather hurt my new boyfriend if he did something like what has happened to me before.

Now, it's a long drama-filled reading. Thanks for bearing with me. The questions is; is it how you feel when your karma is fixed? Or did I made it worse?

I think it is a helpful step on the path of forgiveness, to see the situation through someone else's eyes. We keep grudges and remain intolerant because we stick stubbornly to our own viewpoint. So, yes, I think this experience can help you release the anger person A has caused you in the past and maybe forgive her for judging you without actually knowing you because we are all humans and sometimes make mistakes like that. It happens to everyone. It's sad and it has consequences, but it may be a little lesson for us to learn there too.
