Do any of the people have Venus/Saturn aspect in their chart natally? If one or both have it and have worked through their own issues, it might make it easier.

I have this aspect in synastry at 0 degrees and I like it. I don't think it's bad.

I guess synastry is more complex than I had imagined-turns out we have lots of positives,my sun in Libra and his moon/sun in Libra too.
Thanks so much everyone for your feedback-feeling more positive about this now!
One more thing to pick your brains about!Mercury conjunct pluto at around 6 degrees-would this be strongly felt?his Mercury at 21 degrees Libra-my moon at 22 degrees Libra and my pluto at 14/15 Libra.
Thanks Y'all!x

The Mercury/Pluto conjunction is too wide.

However the Mercury/Moon conjunction is pretty tight and a very positive aspect to have - it points to similar ways of thinking and similar experiences, easy communication (unless other factors mitigate this).

A Venus/Saturn square isn't always negative (or at least it can be overcome), especially since you have the trine the other way around - supportive energy; both of you probably feel quite responsible for each other and that this is something serious.
