It's bothersome how commercialised it's all become, and yet, it's tough not to call a four-legged mammal that barks canis lupus. So, if the duck is quacking, it's easiest to say, 'oh, hey, look, a duck.' Still, that means you accept all that's now become attached to the terminology, should you choose to invoke it, or identify with or as it. Sometimes, it's the easiest way to convey a lot that's tough to articulate. Other times, it's a sure fire way to become confused, given the variability of experience. One set of twin flames is not like, and may differ vastly, from another. And this has been a problem. Nonetheless, if you're inundated by soulmates of many purpose, function, history, and orientation (as it were), to adopt another 'soulmate' term doesn't do much to distinguish the unique nature and role of the 'twin flame' for lack of better. You could create a whole new 'label' all your own, and select to use it, but if it's too close to a match for something else, then you're calling a fork a snarfblatt. (Or whatever that was; I think that's close.) And everyone wonders why you're going through so much trouble. In fact, you're no obfuscating, when you were trying to clarify and approach things with greater purity. The whole thing can go south quickly. - Now, the sort of relationship / connexion for which I'm seeking alternative terminology is defined according to most of, if not all, the following: • established astral connexion prior to meeting (dreams, visions, present in the life of one or both in a noticeable way) • dimensional capabilities (interaction with extraplanar energies and beings, time manipulation and disturbances, time travel experiences) • awareness of a certain archetype long before meeting (both are likely to, but one will definitely 'know' the individual immediately upon meeting; they'll match a set of traits, characteristics, or possess a likeness which has been 'with' the other for a considerable time, leaving a lasting impact; they may even match their 'imaginary friend' from youth or adolescence) • psychic experiences (telepathy, shared somasis, healing abilities, clairaudience and clairsentience) • fated meeting(s) (crossing paths long before meeting, being connected in many ways independently, synchronicities, numerological correspondences for some -- which I consider as more of a verification than identification) • innate unconditional love (no jealousies or possessiveness, no ego-driven vindictive behaviour, genuinely emotionally evolved and seeking to better own life and that of others) • spontaneous 'past life recall' (numerous dreams and visions in which you've been together or interacted in some significant capacity; mutually acknowledged) - ... Auby,Most of the experiences you've listed can only be experienced by psychic people in the first place - someone with an open 3rd eye, or clairvoyant, intuitive and such like. So, does that mean that only such people are capable of meeting their 'twin flame or whatever'? I think you are seeking to define your own experience - which is unique by far. A general term to define it not needed as long as you understand who or what you both are to each other. IP: Logged |
