Tried it with the false twin. Didn't work. It was actually very painful. I felt as if everything was demanding I stop. I even became drained and ill.

Or are we talking about something else?

Nope. I was referring to the use of cord cutting as a means of disengaging with a partner or an ex. Trying to get them out of your head and heart so that you can move forward and heal.

Perhaps it is painful when there is still karma to be resolved, or the two of you are so intertwined that a psychic cut is keenly felt - if you were connected at the soul level, for example.
