Movies is good. The other two would make me fat - depressing later. So the choice seems to be between feeling low now (No cheesecake or ice-cream) or later .

Crying, listening to depressing break-up songs until I get it out of my system. Nowadays it only takes me a couple of days until I'm back to my bouncy, happy self. My motto? There's no going around the pain, might as well get over with it in one go.

2 days would be fantastic however miserable they might be. I kinda have intermittent misery and continue to think of him all the same. So, not looking short and sharp. Maybe I'll give the misery option a good go next time it comes round, which it will, as it seems to go in spirals.

Don't dwell on it, know that it wasn't meant to be, and a better relationship is in the future. Worked for me.

I'm older so how I deal is like this >> If I've given it the best I've got and it doesn't work out, I let it go. Healing and forgiveness comes. No regrets. Peace on earth, good will toward all.

It's a deep wound, but like any wound, over time it heals. The scar will still be there to remind you, but no more pain. Time equals growth.
