The original poster is being led to a certain energy signature and appears to be on the right track. What I would have said to this member, if I knew then what I know now, is that the only way to Know is to be free of the fear. When there is no fear, you know in your gut. When there is fear, the fear takes over your gut. It doesn't matter how hard it is, if you can both be reasonably decent human beings. And I think the "Knowing" is probably different for different people to some extent. For me, it is a feeling of "coming home" "family" "peace", when there is no fear, and pretty much gut wrenching "WRONG!" "BAD!" when you think you are actually losing them. When you are having a misunderstanding the ego is in full force and you play mind games with yourself and your wounds and fears and can wonder if you are right for each other, but when you really believe you are losing them, it feels terribly wrong.
Like losing a body part.
Or worse.
Part of your soul.
Like you REALLY messed up and took a wrong turn. But before you fully join with your person, you can long painfully for their energy signature and chase it in others who are not exactly right. You may think something in your true partner might not be right, but then you find out it was right all along. Just what you needed, just what they needed, part of the Greater Plan etc. EVERYTHING works out like that eventually, and you learn to look outside it and fully trust.
