I’ve been wondering about soul mates/twin flames and karmic partners as well. I think going through a big heart break makes you wonder about the purpose of it all.

I believe that just because a relationship is temporary it doesn’t mean it wasn’t a profound soul connection. But the lessons we’re meant to learn this lifetime together, we’re only for this moment in time. Our paths are now different, moving in different directions.

A Twin Flame has the potential of following the same path but both need to be at the same level of maturity and be willing to travel at the same pace. But moving forward requires growth and that can be very painful. Even in this situation there are no guarantees for a happily ever after.
