your son gave you one of the most beautiful set of cards i've ever seen. i use to have those, they were my first set of cards, i lost them in one of my numerous moves but they are fantastic. I hope yours brings you as much joy and fascination as mine have for me. they have a beautiful mind of their own and always on time. I particularly liked their size, the book that comes along with them, the explanations/descriptions and suggestions as to what the possible cause is if you aren't feeling that card and would like to or feeling overwhelmed by it's influence, and the artistry is absolutely fantastic.

the technique i used was the one sue g suggested - concentrating on the person's name and then pulling a card.

10 of Cups is lovely

Thank you. I have been feeling very content and happy to be with people I love. The most tricky thing about Tarot (at least for me) is the time frame. Sometimes things materialize months and months later. May be in this case 10 of Cups will mean re-uniting with my family members who live in Russia. I do plan the trip in the spring

I was going to say “head over heart” but it’s not even that. More like “universal wisdom over head AND heart”. Meditation probably will be good for you. Hers has a pic of my cousin Muxie Meow on it! Do you have or are you a 'boss' over others? Wands usually to do with physical actions and 'stirring stuff up' a bit. No one is really getting hurt, maybe some antagonizing or rival "posturing"?

sVirgo - i do like the prince of heaven, thank you. those cards you have are like that - one card might disappear on you and pop up at just the right time or sometimes one will fall out of your hand while you are shuffling - sometimes in groups. i really think those cards are wonderful and have a mind of their own. i totally intend on getting another deck of them. whenever and whatever they did something like what you described - i totally trust them.
