So I looked to the cards for insight and this is what came out. I really focused and asked the cards for insight into the current situation as it is and how it will play out.

While you find yourself in upsetting situation there is enough love not to make it a heartbreak. You handle it well too, not letting your emotions ( Queen of Cups) to control everything but staying reasonable, confident and self-sufficient (Nine of Pentacles.)That is one of my favorite cards .
Woman in peace with herself and her surroindings. She is in control of her thinking and her destiny. She has a sense of self-worth and able to manage her own affairs. But at the same time she may experience feeling of incompleteness.

Two of Cups suggests continued relationship. I think 8 of Swords and 7 of Pentacles go hand to hand here. While you may feel stuck, isolated and confused, from the other people perspective it's more like patienly waiting for results of something that has been done in the past. Kind of like you planted the seed and now you are waiting for the sprout to come out. And we all know how much it is to watch the grass grow, right? But the seed is there.... Of course, the question is how long? One way to determine the time frame is to look at the past card and try to relate it to specific event. The same amount of time will apply to the future card. For the King of Pentacles that could be some financial or real estate transaction, may be something to do with your father... .

Four of Wanfs is a very positive card in relationship reading. It signifies building a steady foundation for marriage or committed relationship. It is a landmark of successful development, where you can stop and take a moment to enjoy. Another aspect of the 4 of Wands associate it with the Major Arcanum of Adjustment, or Justice. This is because this Wand indicates the manifestation of balanced forces, resulting in the fulfilment of earlier hopes, ideas and dreams.

I drew three cards for clarification and I got Nine of Cups , King of Cups and Five of Pentacles. So it looks like there is a man who loves you and he will make your wishes come true. Five of Pentacles besides financial problem, also indicates a threat to our overall security including emotional. In a Crowley's Thoth deck it is called Lord of Worry. We look to the future and we see something nasty ahead. Then we sit and worry about it. Try to remember - what you put your attention on grows. It is important not to feed that possibility with our own fear. Fear is a powerful emotion. It can rule if we let it. When this card comes up, remember that disturbance is possible - not probable.

So, from the look at the cards the conclusion is - 'sit tight, everything is going to be all right"

I am always amazed at how accurate the cards drawn paint a picture of the situation, after so many years of doing my own readings (I'll do my own reading maybe once or twice a year, usually when I'm upset or confused about something)... I'm always amazed every time.

My ex-husband and I did purchase a house in January and that co-own and rent out together post-divorce, so maybe my time frame is about 6 - 8 months? I haven't had much to do with my father lately or any other major financial transactions...

I really appreciate you looking into this for me Kamilla and if there is anything I can do for you, let me know. i have a lot of synastry books and what not, so if you need any help with an aspect or anything, I'll be happy to help you out too.

It's funny, because last night before I went to sleep I wasn't even thinking about him, but I had this thought almost burst into my mind out of nowhere "{name} is going to contact you soon"... and I felt a kind of certainty about it in the pit of my stomach and I couldn't banish the thought from my head... sooooo... we'll see what comes of that.

I don't know what I'm going to say to him. I have been so hurt my him not talking to me and acting like he doesn't even care or that i don't exist over the last month... I can understand being overwhelmed... if he had just said so and said he needed to step back... that would have been fine... but to shut me out like this... I just don't know what to say or how to trust him... to even be my friend... you know?

I guess I will cross that bridge and have that discussion when or if he contacts me again....
