Uh, in relation to this astrology site... ask any question but DO NOT admit to being gay. This guy won't even use the word, and he has a severe prejudice. He claims acceptance of 'homosexuality' is political correctness and not welcome on the site. Lesbianism is apparently seeing women as sex objects. (For him it is I imagine) He is seriously unsafe for your spiritual welfare.

incidentally even though I said nothing offensive- I have been banned from the site, banned for saying I'm gay and that it did not mean there was something wrong with me (as Galen asserted) or that it means I view women as sexual objects (because that's his view of lesbianism). My messages were deleted so that nobody can see his hate filled messages. So much for wisdom, Galen. Sorry to disappoint those of you who care about equality. Not everyone, I know...

i also had a little problem with him, inasmuch as he basically told me that my asc and midheaven were not in "musical" signs so i should not probably consider a musical career...i don't agree with that sort of astrology, and as it happens my asc and mozart's sun are the same! so - non-musical?

this doesn't mean others will not find him helpful, just keep an eye out...

That's pretty severe, luckily you knew otherwise... love the bit about Mozart, I hope you let him know! Imagine if you were not already on your way with music, it could potentially have been damaging to your future. I agree, I don't like this sort of astrology but it's too easy to to trust something that sounds like it's going to be good! Definitely he uses real astrology, he just mixes it up with his own judgements. He also lifted quite a lot of mine from, I think, Robert Hand. Whoever writes the free profiles for www.astro.com (A really good site for a lot of free and more detailed professional stuff) Some of the stuff on my forecast was word for word what he had written, he just tailored it in a way to my specific question. Like you say some people might be helped, but I'd be very wary, he has some serious issues and you may not realise you're getting his prejudice not wisdom.

Ok, I have to say something right about now. This guy has looked at the composite charts of myself and a few people now, and has also done a few horary readings for me, all quite OK...for a free, public board, as he calls it. I really did think he was a little bit crazy myself! I swear! I just ignored it, and thought, well it must just be my own....ummm cancer hypersensitivity, or something? But, yeah. He offers this "Rate your Romance" thing where you fil out a form of you and your lover's details....and I thought it was a computer generated thing just like every other site, Except that, like in topsynergy.com, it was delivered to your email once it was calculated. So, anyway, b/c I thought that, I did a report for like 12 people...lol! Yes, I'm obsessive in that way. And so, guess what he did. He got furious........he said you know you with so many leo placements in your chart are so self-centered, sometimes you do not realize just how self-centered you are blah blah, even though you have a cancer sun which means you are quite sensitive yourself, you are unawarely isensitive to other people's feelings blah blah blah. Gawd..why does he even have to say anything...it's not like it's that personal, right? Don't you realize this a public and free board and I am working here for free blah blah. Lmao. I tried to tell myself that he wasn't mad......because of course you can't tell over the internet, right? I told myself he was just trying to defend his own feelings. OMG though, that was opretty traumatic. And that was my first time I had gone to him...I had just finished signing up. And he's done other things for me to thing that he is a little kooky, yes. Thank God you guys saw it, too. To be honest, I felt pretty guilty about thinking that about a nice old man who was helping others through the internet. LOL!

When I went to his site to ask his opinion om mine and my guys synastry I got a few basic minute details that I could have figured out myself. The alarm bells in my head went off, fake, phony, fraud. I was polite and I thanked him, but it really was a waste of time. He seems so mean on some of the answers he gives. In my opinion, even if two people have the worst synastry chart, they may still be able to have a good relationship, it's all about love and free will, the planets are just a guidebook.
Sorry you had a bad experience in that manner intrepid. Someone in his position should not behave in such an openly hostile way, that's at the very least unprofessional. Like I said fake, fraud, phony, and that's my unbiased opinion.

Thanks you folks, I'm so glad it wasn't just me, and maybe he's just a little crazy not just homophobic! I know what you mean Dainbramaged about the remarks- he told me I was neurotic amongst other things and that it was this that led to such things as people who had been close to us stealing from us. He said that I just couldn't see my own part in it, and that my 'homosexuality ' was my dark side, and a disorder...
I totally understand why you posted it up here, one does tend to think, must be a nice guy doing free horoscopes, I'm the only one he's been peed off with!! Well, now we know! www.astro.com, do an amazing amount of freebies- personality, kids, relationship, travel... and you get your chart and everything too. The Liz green ones are limited but you get loads for the profiles and forecasts. You don't get questions answered personally, but what you get is impartial!

I'm so sorry you all had to endure that man's abuse. It's one of the worst kinds of abuse, you're expecting to be healed by someone who you entrust your birth data to for spiritual purposes and instead he abuses you by using the darkest interpretations of the symbols.

My opinion is just to erase what he said from your memory if you can, even if the things he said even slightly resembles what you know the symbols to represent.

I try to let people know to be careful when giving someone their chart information, not everyone has the best intentions with it. It takes me a very long time to give another astrologer my chart information. I have to understand their philosophy about life and astrology first. I'm definitely not into "Doom and Gloom" astrology, I need to hear the positive because life shows me the negative everyday, there is nothing new for me with the negative. If you can show me something positive within the stress, then I can show you my chart.

Anyway, I'm blabbing on now, but I just wanted to let you know how bad I felt with you about this. I wish better for you in your search for future insight.

Oh, owch. Him and his size 10's, he did the same to me, in a way. Told me I'm neurotic and need to see how i have caused my own problems with people, no matter what they did. And that I am not normal and a minority who doesn't qualify to be seen as normal, or some such thing. For some reason this guy is kinda toxic, and you have all helped me to see that I don't need to take his attitude personally. (I was quite devastated as I really needed help and reassurance at the time)
So, I can safely say the same to you, it has nothing to do with you. He's attacking his own weakness, in a sense, which he projects onto people who innocently come to him for help. The more I see the more he seems like a spider in the corner with a bright shiny web waiting to catch his prey.... the best we can do is either ignore him or tell him what we think. I did the latter, politely enough, and was banned from the site, my messages deleted. I still think it's the best thing though as people can see it before he deletes it, and you can save someone some uneccessary emotional damage.
