I am having a difficult time at the moment in many areas of my life and things just seem to be getting more difficult. I was wondering if anybody could tell me if there is anything going on in my chart that might help shed some light on the best way to handle myself at the moment. 27/09/81 3:17am Adelaide, Australia. Amphitrite, if you're an '81 baby, you're going through your first Saturn Return right now. I don't know how well you know astrology, so forgive me if this is info you already have, but your Saturn Return is a time (between 27-29 years old) when you "mature" from a young adult to an adult. It's an important time and comes with lots of conflicts, hard lessons and disillusionment. I'm an '82, and mine starts in about 6 months. Here are some links:

Thanks aerialcircus I have read a little about saturn returns but not that much. I didn't think that it was my saturn return yet though because I thought my natal saturn is in libra and saturn is currently transiting virgo, but Im not sure. How far away does it have to be from your natal position before you start to feel it? Thank you for posting the links, I will have a read.

Amphitrite, I could definitely be wrong. My own fear of my own Saturn return has kind of closed me off from it, so I'm definitely far from an expert. I (maybe improperly) just assumed, since mine is starting in 6 months and you're roughly a year older than I am. Is anyone else more knowledgeable on Saturn Returns able to clear this up for us?

Your Saturn Return hasn't started yet. I checked out your transits, though, and transiting Saturn is closely conjunct your natal Moon, which creates a feeling of PRESSURE and might make you highly critical of yourself and down on yourself. You've also got transiting Pluto square your natal Sun, which can feel like there's a vice-grip on your whole personality/self, putting too much pressure on you. And the transiting NN is conjunct your natal South Node, showing that the universe is intent on teaching you a Big Lesson, and not necessarily a fun one.

The good news is that Saturn will move off your Moon later this month (it's probably been there for 4-6 months), bringing relief from your harsh self-judgement.

My advice would be to really honor your Sun at this time. Write a list of 100 things that you love to do, and then three times a week, pick one and do it!

It's also a time to relieve yourself of unneccessary, unfun obligations by learning to say NO...which can be tricky for a Libra, I know.

Thanks so much for looking at my chart and giving me some advice, Lucia23. I really do feel massive pressure at the moment, and I'm feeling extremely isolated and alone. I just feel like I can't trust anybody. When you say that the universe is intent on teaching me a big lesson with NN conjunct natal SN, do you know what sorts of things and feelings generally come up during this transit?

Also I am pretty sure that the upcoming total solar eclipse on 22/07/09 is conjunct my natal north node in 12th house cancer, has anybody ever had this before to know what I should maybe expect? General themes even.

I don't know too much about the NN-SN conjunction transit, just that it's supposed to be about karmic lessons...someone else will know more...BUT, Saturn will move off your Moon before that eclipse, and you will no longer be feeling the self-loathing and pressure that can come with Saturn bearing down on your Moon.

Yeah, that eclipse will be exactly conjunct your NN, and I think that could actually be wonderful...I would imagine that you could have a transformational realization that would guide you toward your greater destiny. Pay extra attention to your dreams, fantasies, visions, and intuitive flashes in the week before and the week after that eclipse--because your NN is in your 12th house, mysticism/dreams/visions/transcendental experiences may play a role.

Good luck! Really I think the problem is that TSaturn is causing you to judge both yourself and situations too harshly...that particular influence will go away around mid-July.

I'm going through the same thing too, I think (your bday is pretty close to mine!). Saturn's been crushing my sun lols...GaAAHHH~

Lucia,
When's the eclipse?? Is it specifically supposed to affect the NN big time?? My NN is in Leo 0 deg, so currently my natal SN is being conjunct to transiting NN too. How would that likely affect me, if my natal SN is in the 4th house?? (Do you think this has anything to do with me relocating??--thanks for the advice on SR return btw!!)
