I'm new here, but need some guidance. A platonic relationship with a neighbor has rapidly evolved into something more within the last 3 weeks, but it's taken on some elements that are frankly kind of surprising and scary and I feel like some deeper forces are at work here. Our two small children are friends and while I know that the feelings between us are mutual I've gone from barely being aware of this man to being pretty much obsessed with him and spending every possible waking moment with him!

I have lurked on this site for quite some time and while I would consider myself an amateur student of astrology I have never studied the deeper elements of synastry that some of you have and would be very grateful if someone would take a peek at our charts to tell me what the HECK is going on here! A little social engineering yielded his birth data. I was able to do a synastry and composite chart (below). This is my first time posting here, I hope the images come out ok:

Well, that Pluto-Venus opposition is hottt...but, I was staying out of this hoping someone else would weigh in instead, because I know some astrologers think Neptune aspects are beautiful and romantic, but...

I hope I'm not being too candid, but I just don't like the looks of that exact Neptune-Juno conjunction, and it looks to me (am I misreading the aspects though?) like your Sun-Vertex are square HIS Neptune. Intuitively, something about this to me feels like Neptune blinders are involved!

Even if you hadn't mentioned the sudden obsessiveness...are you both free, or is someone involved in other relationships? Something about his mutable squares (Pisces Moon-Merc, Saggie Neptune, Gem Saturn) makes me a bit worried that he is one of those guys who gets confused when it comes to love...he'll go for things headfirst in a big exertion of Aries, then start messing up, lying, cheating, dissolving, putting his fingers in too many pies.

I would suggest taking this slooooowwww. If you have not had an "are we seeing other people?" talk, I would do it ASAP. I'm not sure whether it is something he can be totally honest about, but it's a good time to set a tone of honesty and clarity.

I would focus on deepening your platonic connection, getting very clear on whether you are both available for a relationship, and laying out some expectations. Otherwise this could be a hot sex/deep talks followed by weird, inexplicable drifting and mixed messages kind of relationship, which could be very frustrating. Make sure no one is getting deceived here.

We talked about your assessment on the other thread but you were spot on with this one. I'd be interested to see what anyone has to say about the composite though. I have never had a composite chart looked at before.
