I've been having a health issue for about a month now and have to go for a mammogram and ultrasound tommorrow morning. I know the chances of breast cancer are very slim at my age but naturally I am curious about what my chart indicates. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. <A HREF="http://www.linda-goodman.com/cgi-bin/ubb/postings.cgi?action=newtopic&number=11&forum=Personal+Readings[URL=http://g.imageshack.us/img196/annachart110809.gif/1/]

I know a small amount of medical/health astrology, so hopefully someone more learned than me will chime in...

T-Uranus is in your 4th house, which is Cancer's home (ruling sign of the breasts). Cancer's ruling planet, the N-Moon, has a lot of stressful transits right now (squares and oppositions). With T-Neptune (loose square to Moon and conjunct Chiron) and T-Uranus in the 4th, they may not be able to get a clear diagnosis. However, N-Mercury trine T-Jupiter is a good sign of helpful knowledge or discovery and since Uranus can be expected to be unexpected, you might get a different diagnosis than what you are expecting. You may have benign cysts that that will clear up after the Sun enters Sagittarius. Breast cancer has been linked theoretically to Pluto-Moon transits and T-Pluto in Cap will like your Taurus Moon very much so that's not a stressor. You do have a N-Pluto square T-Pluto coming up, but those are in foundation/business houses. To summarize, what I see looking at the chart is an unclear diagnosis is likely, and because of Jupiter whatever diagnosis you receive is likely to be unexpected but good news. If you meditate or use color therapy, green/heart chakra would be useful to concentrate on as well as feelings of unconditional love and compassion for yourself. Also, you may need to work out negative situations at work. You have Moon in the 6th house, and your job affects your health more than most people. Good luck and good health to you.

Thank you Musette! You were exactly right - there was no actual diagnosis today because they didn't see anything worrisome at all from the mammo or ultrasound. The issue is benign and resolving on it's own but can be further monitored by my dr if needed. Phew!

...now I am interested in finding out more about the Pluto transit you speak of After my mammo appointment today I had an exciting meeting about an upcoming creative/business chance of a lifetime, which I am pumped about working on and I'm sooo ready to face the challenge. Eee!

Thanks again for your input!

That's wonderful! I will take a look at your chart for creativity/business-related transits, but I won't have time to do that until tomorrow or Wednesday. I will post back, though!

Well, I had a small family emergency to handle and am now leaving for out-of-town. However, I will try to look at your chart asap. I'll be gone a few days, so it may be a week at most before I can post on it.

Oy. What started as one family crisis turned into three of them. I should be settled back next week, though. Thanks for your patience!
