i just did a reading. i asked if this relationship between me and a guy is a romantic one. i pulled:

The Chariot
Judgement
Death

all major arcana. i got a very strong feeling when i got these cards but i'm not quite sure how to interpret.

Chariot is admitting that you could be expecting too much, too fast or that the other person is expecting this of you. Boundaries and preferences are important to know.

Judgement tells me that physical evidence is soon at hand but it also warns to slow down and be more steady

Death tells me that you have to make sure you aren't boxing your relationship in one package (romantic relationship) because this is what you are accustomed to. Make sure that's not what you are doing - nixxing a say, friendship with this person because it's "new" to you because you want what you are familiar with seeking.

so i definitely felt and saw that whole scorpio-water-fire-pluto energy in the cards. astrologically, it is mirrored almost perfectly. there is a HUGE scorpio fest going on:

his sun conjunct my pluto in scorpio (0° orb)
plus he has mercury, venus and pluto in scorpio.

i have mars, saturn and pluto in scorpio.
his venus is conjunct my saturn.(2° orb)

this whole configuration falls in my 10th house and his first house.

then to top it off his ascendant is exactly conjunct my midheaven in libra (0° orb)...

so, your interpretation rings very true for me.
i met this guy a week after i had broken up with my serious bf of 2 years. we met in a work/creative setting and were pursuing a collaborative relationship. but then very strong feelings developed between us, very quickly. after a month of really being emotionally indulgent with each other, he stepped back...way back. he said that we really needed to focus on the business aspect of our relationship. he has helped me tremendously in my professional/creative career. however, it seems as if everything he said in the beginning and all of the intense feelings we shared disappeared.

now my feelings have caught up and i feel undeniable attracted to him. in a way i have never experienced before, like a magnetic pull that is beyond emotional expression. definitely a lot of sexual energy at first but we are both abstinent. he seems so detached. however, i know better. his strong scorpio nature tells me that there is a lot more beneath that calm surface. i just wish i knew what was really going on in his heart and head...
