don't you just love when you get so many major arcana in a reading? so i'm doing a career reading right now...i generally deal out 9 cards, no particular spread, and my intuition tends to group them accordingly.anyone care to interpret? 6 of wands the star the hermit the tower the emperor the sun death 2 of pentacles 10 of swords sounds like fun, doesn't it? go ahead, give it a go! Lots of major arcana in a read tend to mean big changes. Especially when the tower is involved. But it becomes more of a case of sometimes almost expecting the worst when you look at the lumping of these cards together:The 10 of swords The Tower Death The Hermit That is just showing a lot of fear ABOUT the change itself, so it colors the reading. Especially the 10 of swords, which I consider an extreme exaggeration of whatever you're worried about. It's like the 'I'm bracing myself for the worst to happen' card lol. Plus with the Hermit in there it shows that you're afraid you're going to be all alone in dealing with stuff and that no one's going to be there for you. The Hermit is a fine card by itself as just a need for solitude, but with these other cards it's like speaking about the fear of being alone when going through a big change (or so I think anyway). You also need to consider the other cards: The Emperor The Star 6 of Wands The Sun These are like almost complete opposites of the other cards lol. Basically, you're going to be great, it's just that you're very worried that the worst might happen somehow, or that you won't get what you want. I suggest you just take out another 3 cards (no more than 3) for kind of a 'bottom line' look IP: Logged |

hey MVM!i guess i never thought about the fear. i think subconsciously its there. on my journey so far, people come in and play there role and leave. so i've come to expect people disappear. not so much a fear, just a sober expectation. oddly enough, earlier this year when i was doing a lot of practice spreads i would often focus on my career (blame mars saturn and pluto in my natal 10th house). the tower would come up every time! i started to dream about the tower! i never was afraid of it, just took it to mean sudden and inevitable change. anyhow, not sure what i fear. my solar return for this year is so promising as far as my career is concerned, so i've been looking forward to this time for awhile... i don't know... i pulled 3 more cards (a fresh shuffle. i already put up the cards after the first post) but i got these: queen of wands kings of wands temperance IP: Logged |

Electric, you kind of sound like me with the people 'playing a role and then leaving' bit! I think Pluto in your 10th is HUGE! That definitely means your career choices impact you greatly, and almost 'redefine' you. Where's Pluto now in transit with your chart? The 3 new cards you pulled are awesome because they feel like they're talking about getting help from others as well. But also it's talking about you tapping into your creative energies and starting new things. Temperance is telling you things will be fine, and to be patient and try and take the middle road for now. I think what's happening is that you are ready, so ready for the change, that you're bursting at the seams and going, Let's go! And maybe things feel slow because you're at that last leg of the journey before starting a new chapter. IP: Logged |

oh MVM, i like your insights.where is pluto you ask? just entered my 1st house. i've got neptune at 0 capricorn, jupiter and my AC at 3 capricorn. and the icing on the cake: moon a 5 aries. so pluto stopped just as he is squaring my moon...perhaps that is why i'm wanting to move. after going through the roughness last year i'm itchin for results, i'm ready for the outer to reflect then inner. temperance is my "yea yea yea, i know" card. nothing i can do to speed it up, just be. thank you IP: Logged |

Ahhh, lordy, you're an Aries mooner too huh Yeah, I am the same way with change... NOW NOW NOW. It always sucks to wait. Mine's at 18 degrees, so it will be a while (that's ok, I'm getting pummeled now with Pluto sq Pluto, Saturn sq Saturn, and Saturn oppose Pluto lol). I always roll my eyes when I get the Temperance card. I'm 36 years old and I only know how to *act* patient sometimes Anyway... wow, so probably the Pluto on the asc transit is pretty intense. I think it's great actually because it gives a lot of personal power in how you present yourself, which is really wonderful for new beginnings! IP: Logged |
