I began a major creative project last October which I completed in May. I am now negotiating to sell the finished product to a prospective buyer. I've been given an offer which I'll have to make a decision about this week, but I am feeling uncertain. Can anyone give me any astrological advice regarding this situation?

Please feel free to mention anything else that you see or stands out in my chart.

Thank you so much!

Hello Domina,

What is the project and when is the meeting? I ask for more specifics because all of the patterns dealing with your work and career are on a teeter-totter and the biggest issue is whether you're willing to break away from the status quo in order to reach for what is new and innovative. The new usually wins out, the antique vs. the modern, wisdom vs. genius, stability vs. extreme freedom.

And is there some kind of special event happening at home or with your mother?

When is the meeting where you announce your decision?

Hi Geo,

Thank you for your response!

The project is a film.
I am planning on making my announcement to this particular company via email by this Friday. Basically they have given me an offer and I have to decide to "take it or leave it". The offer is not exactly what I would prefer and is a bit risky but it also has the potential to be successful. Working with them would have more of a guaranteed and immediate PR benefit than monetary benefit, but there would still be potential for additional future profits. Also FYI - the proposed deal will run 9 months starting this month or next month.

It's interesting about the status-quo issues you mentioned, because this company has worked with several of my peers/colleagues. That is one of the main reasons why I would like to work with them as well. The deal they are offering me is different than that of with my peers however, and on the other hand I feel I could potentially aim higher and make a larger profit if I work with a different company. Of course that would mean starting a whole new time-consuming negotiation process in which I may or may not end up with a better deal.

Also in regards to my peer group/colleagues, I feel I am struggling to relate while also maintaining my independence.
Other status quo issues I am facing are:
-me as an indie producer vs the mainstream industry
-older distribution models versus newer technology

The special event happening at my home with my mother is that she recently moved back to our family's hometown, which has caused a lot of conflict between she & I.

Please let me know if you have any other questions & thank you again!

Hello Domina,

Without having a personal conversation with you about your level of professionalism, etc. it would be difficult for me to give you a "yes or no" answer. What I can tell that is "in the air" around this decision you need to make is this, whatever your decision is, there's going to be a rocky feeling about it - a rebellious and/or revolutionary feeling about it, even if you say no. If you say no, whatever new deals you make or whatever projects you begin there's going to be a chaotic feeling around it.

My suggestion based on the chart is to take the risk, especially if you are an independent film maker/producer. There's strong adventure attached to this project. It feels very "Indiana Jones-ish" with the ball rolling toward you and all of that. Seriously, but it sounds like it could really turn out in your favor. You may not get everything that you want, but there's something you're gaining - A LOT that you're gaining but in a form that you're not supposed to see yet...and then some.

There's something leading me to say this so I'll say it:

"If you're going to be and independent film maker, then BE AN INDEPENDENT FILM MAKER!!!" That means MAX OUT THE CARDS, ya know?! That's the tradition, that's how it's done.

Wow, OK, I don't know where that came from but it's my first lame attempt at channeling.

...by the way, Chaplin and Hitchcock told me to tell you "be the camera and the film, the screens will find you."

I'm joking about the channeling but only a little bit. Just like the rest of the world and this crazy job market, the film industry is experiencing it's own version of this same energy so if you have to do things differently, don't fear it, go with the flow of it. It's feeling weird for everybody whether you're an artist today or the CEO of a major corporation, everything looks new and different, therefore it's frightening. Do it anyway.

Hi Geo,

I told them their deadline was too rushed for me, that I'm going to explore my other options but and they agreed to keep the offer on the table for the future. So I bought myself some time... If I do work with them it will probably be in Sept. Based on my chart, do you think Sept/Fall would be better timing? or what are your thoughts if you don't mind?

Thank you again Geo!!!

Hi Domina,

In order to deeper in a proper way, I would need for you to give me your place of birth. I already figured out the birth date.
