*Oh, I just wanted to mention something, because you will notice it soon.
In every other reading, I would lay out the cards, as in actually LAY them down. So, no card could be repeated.
However, when I do this particular spread, I pull the card, write it down, shuffle and then pull the next month, and so on..

I do this because some energies repeat themselves over again from month to month, or need to be highlighted. This happened in your spread, as you will see.
So, I just advise people to take special note of cards that come up more than once.
If you have 72 cards, and you draw 12, and one comes up more than once, well... I can't do math, but you know!!

Also, I wanted you to know that for this particular reading, I don't use reversed cards.
They just confuse things and muddle the message, and most times I only use them in relationship spreads.
Just one of those, 'to each reader his own' kind of things. OK. Onward!!

April 2011- Page of Wands

This card speaks of new creative potential coming your way (as in ideas from within), a listless feeling at work - sometimes associated with a vague feeling of dissatisfaction.
It's as if you can glimpse areas in which your life could be better - but they are still kind of misty, and the thoughts are not fully formed.

It's important not to think of this inner dissatisfaction as a 'bad phase', but instead think of it as an awakening to what you really want/need.

Some Key Phrases:
Be true to yourself
Stay somewhat detached in relationships, but remain friendly.
Moving ahead with new things.
Being the 'center or glue' that holds a group together, because if not for you a project might fall apart.

May- Queen of Cups

A deeply emotional woman. Some people feel cancer energy, some say Scorpio, it's up for interpretation to the individual.
This Queen does not compromise emotionally - even if the people around her do not understand her, or where she is coming from.

Thanks, Teasel. I'm glad you posted here, because it's kinda out of the way...

I'll still be posting just as much. I just hope that I can avoid being part of such a big "scene" because it just leaves an overall conflicted energy here on the forums.

I guess I feel responsible because I somewhat could have known how the thread was going to go (with that "type" of personality) and could have just avoided it completely... (I didn't also realize that behavior was a "constant" thing for "the person" on the board).

I like this site and don't want to "ruin" the fun for others.

I haven't been on the computer all day because I haven't been feeling well, but I was very concerned last night that you may consider leaving the board, cause, well, that was kind of a major blow up and you just got here and all.
So, I'm glad you didn't!!
I wanted to drop you an email and ask you to stay, but thank goodness I have friends who think alike, and had the foresight to leave you a message here!

Anyway, glad you stayed, stuff like that happens only rarely, MOST times we are civilized.

June- The Four of Wands

The Four of Wands is usually known as the celebration card. It comes up to signify that this is a time in ones life when there is much happy energy, new unions, new beginnings.
Since this card came up in the month of June it could mean that you attend an event like a: wedding, baby shower, family/class reunion, graduation, etc...
Happy days, good times. Very positive and uplifting.
Just keep in mind that this is only the beginning of the journey.

If you are in a couple at this time, this card can indicate new living arrangements. Perhaps you move in with them, or they move in with you.
There is also a sense of community with this card.

In terms of work, the four of wands speaks of havesting ones rewards for a job well done.
Your creative ideas have come to fruition, this is like the springtime, when you see the first blooms after a long winter.
It is possible under the fours energy to get rewarded, perhaps with a pay raise, or some kind of noteriety, whatever it is, it is something that you have desired.

July- The High Priestess

Well, sometimes this card can be thought of as one of the fertility cards, so if you aren't thinking along those lines at this time, you might want to take precautions!

But, mostly this card has to do with a time in your life when you are very centered and balanced, and receptive.
You may experience moments of clairvoyance at this time, or have paranormal experiences,...
like astral travel, or maybe a message from beyond.
It's certainly a time where you would want to keep track of your dreams and visions/thoughts, so to speak.

August 2011- The World

The World is your oyster baby! That is always what comes to my mind when I pull this card.

This is the last card of the Major Arcana, so what started out as a wide eyed naive person with The Fool, has now come full circle complete with The World.

This card speaks of a time of great achievement for hard work well done.
It is success and triumph (did I spell that right?) anyway, accolades may come your way this month.

With The World just know that everything is as it should be, and you are well on your way to meeting your destiny, whatever that may be in this WORLD.

Welllll, this isn't the best card in the deck, but it's surely not the worst.

The 5 of Wands can speak of alot of competitiveness around you.
This can lead to frustration and anger.
You need to stand up for yourself at this time and refuse to be a victim.

Make sure during this time that you, yourself do not fall victim to false predjudices stemming from your own inner frustrations and tensions.

Sine Wands speak of ideas, this could literally mean tension in the air, as in your workplace, home place, or surroundings in general... wherever you spend alot of time.

Meditation is a good thing to utilize at this time to center yourself.

Now I'll give you a summary and what I feel the cards are saying to you, but as you know, there is always free will, so ... like anything take it for what it is.

So, I think that your year to come is mostly consumed with work. You have a few relationship cards in there, but I just get the feeling that mostly your concern lies in work and establishing yourself in that area at this time.

You have tons of people/energy around you.
I don't know what your job is, but I feel that some part of it must utilize creative ideas, because the cards clearly show alot of creative energy.

It seems that you will have alot of help, maybe some guidance in what you do. I don't know if you have co-workers, or you work in alliance with others or what, but you do seem to have some kind benefactors.

You seem very driven on your goals, and not at all afraid of hard work.
It would seem that sometimes you get a bit bogged down, and feel like you can't see the forrest from the trees, but I feel this is due to the sheer amount of the workload that you take on yourself.
I feel that you find much solace in work.

It seems as though you may have an opportunity to meet someone and date them towards the middle part of the year, and you may do just that, but the relationship doesn't feel very heavy, more like hanging out, relaxing and having fun.
Perhaps a companion situation.

I think you will accomplish many long awaited goals this year, and then turn around and set new ones for yourself that you will strive to conquer.

Just keep in mind that balance is indeed a state of mind, and try to not to tip the scales so much toward work and its rewards that you leave yourself lacking in other areas.
