Ok, can anyone tell me what site would offer me a free chart reading? I've used alabe and astro.com.

I guess nobody wants to read for me because I'm new!

I'll try to remember to come back sometime when I'm not on my phone. Your and my Moons are conjunct.

Sun conjunct Mercury in the 5th, to me, suggests that you're a creative and facile communicator (perhaps especially with kids).

Having Capricorn Rising and a Cancer NN suggests that you're quite at ease taking care of business. The idea of nurturing people may be attractive to you, but you're a bit hesitant about it. Perhaps you feel like your manner is too stiff or masculine to nurture. You lack water, so emotions may not be your forte.

Your Sun, Moon, and Mars are connected nicely. I was inclined to say that your actions (Mars) are motivated by your emotions (Moon), but your Sun makes a nice trine to Mars as well. I would guess that this makes you pretty effective when you want to do something. Either of your luminaries can effect action with ease.

Your Saturn in positive aspect to your Mercury helps keep your thinking more objective than Sun conjunct Mercury suggests. Sun conjunct Mercury suggests a person that goes with what they believe despite evidence to the contrary. Saturn trine Mercury will help keep you balanced and realistic.

Three planets in the 9th, and two planets in Sagittarius suggests a Sagittarian theme with you. With Pluto on the MC with Sag's ruler perhaps you're supposed to be transformative in a Sagittarian way.

Things would change dramatically in your chart if you switched to whole sign house system.

Wow AG, thankyou.

I've always been creative, and I have younger siblings (10 years between me and youngest sis) and a daughter who's 8 who I can totally relate to on a childlike level.

On the business front, I've not found my niche in any specific area. But I am at ease most of the time with myself and my life.

You're correct on the nurturing. Being the eldest child I was never nurtured in the way my siblings were, so I don't crave hugs and I'm not a big hugger, or a maternal type. But I do show love in other ways of course.

Very true I am completely motivated by emotions. But mostly I'm at ease like you said, and these emotions crop up from nowhere. I think they are buried quite deep. I don't like others to see my vulnerable emotions, can not cry in front of people without feeling weak, but I love to show when I'm angry!

I try to be balanced and realistic, but the emotions always win don't they

I've had a few Sagittarian boyfriends and they were the hardest to get over. But we connected quite deeply. I sometimes wonder why they say Sagittarius makes the perfect mate for Gemini. They seem to be much more independent than me while I crave the closeness (mentally mainly).

I'm not sure what you mean by 'the whole house sign system'. What's that?

Thanks for your reading. The generic readings I've found to be quite unsatisfying.

Sorry. I don't always come into Personal Readings, so I had forgotten about this for awhile.

There are different systems for working out the house structure in a natal chart. If you go to astro.com, you'll find a drop down list of them to choose from. Whole house system is one of the older/oldest systems, and some people find it suits their charts better. The planets don't change position by degree, but since the houses shift, your planets might find a new home that makes more sense for you. Find interpretations for the planets in the new house system, and see if you like those better.

I'm glad you enjoyed what I had to say. I tripped myself up for a little bit thinking it was Neptune in the 10th instead of Pluto. Had to erase some stuff.

I've also had trouble dating the sign opposite my Sun. You could try Aqua, or a sign neighboring your sign, and you might get a better result.

Yes I've had lots of fun with Aquarius, also Leo. Sagittarius is a sign I will have to avoid I think, hehe. And I meet so many Cancers, but I've never been attracted much to them. I like a wild guy.

Oh I'm so confused about reading charts. I have loads of reading material in the basic astrology forum but no idea where to start. I hate reading pages of text from the screen so I suppose I'll print some off one day

I did what you suggested and selected whole sign system at astro.com and saw degrees near the planets, unfortunately don't know what they mean. I'm sure I'll learn a lot once I stop being overwhelmed by the maths/science of astrology.

The learning part of my brain seems to stop working when it comes to numbers, lol. I am a left brainer! Also have those moments when I feel like nothing is making sense and wondering "Is it me, am I stupid?" Hah, I will get there
