A former Knowflake gifted me with a deck of cards that have proven highly accurate. Actually she may still be around but has chosen to engage in other pursuits in this phase of her life.

This is a reading to determine the state of your emotional health, issues that need to be resolved in order for you to enjoy a new relationship, issues that may have impeded the forming of healthy relationships in the past, and whether you are ready/ if you will find a new relationship within the next year.

One of the things you are going to have to address to experience success in your relationships is a feeling of inadequacy. You struggle with Feeling Unwanted which can manifest as insecurity or game-playing. You do this to protect yourself but it only alienates your partner and is self-defeating. This pattern can go all the way back to childhood and a series of learned "rejecting" behaviors. Deep down inside you crave love and for your partner to express their love for you openly, but be cautious about appearing too needy in your relationships.

You also have a fear of becoming too reliant on your partner or having your partner become too reliant on you. While you want a relationship more than anything, sometimes when you get what you want you wrestle with feelings of feeling smothered or wanting to break away. You crave Independence, but there are two types of independence. Healthy independence is natural, resourceful, or self-reliant but unhealthy independence is disconnected from the S-elf, emotions, and ability to join in partnership. The happiest stage of independence will progress into partnership and interdependence. Also, the presence of this card indicates that your ability to receive is blocked. Something you are doing or a behavior in which you are engaging is preventing you from having what you want. As you commit to going forward, you will find solutions to present problems and become more connected with yourS-elf and those around you which will allow you to receive more.

Sometimes your relationships are based more on Fantasy than reality. You should guard against this as it can stop you from having the relationship that you truly desire. Letting go of fantasy opens you to receiving the relationship that you long for. Visualize what you want, and you will manifest it. The tendency to fantasize may indicate loneliness; instead of fantasy, embrace life and you will have the real thing. This card can also indicate that you have a tendency to hold onto and idealize past partners. This is something you need to be working on right now in order to bring yourself into the state of consciousness where you can receive the relationship you desire. You will know you have found "the one" when the relationship is not fantasy based and you feel truly fulfilled and can exist in the present.

Ladybates, at times you can be a bit needy in your relationships and leave your partners feeling like what they do is Never Enough. Keep in mind I am telling you this not to hurt you but so that you can identify this part of yourself and enjoy positive relationships. Your lover is not the source of your happiness and pleasure and you cannot make them your idol. This will only drive people away. Instead, let us begin the process of correcting this tendency within you so that we can mimimize the destructive impact on your relationships. Communication is key--use it to share and heal and drive out the urgent neediness within you.

That being said, you have some fun times ahead and maybe even a Tryst or two! Meeting people who can provide you with romanticism and sweet delights, fun-filled dates, etc. is where your energy should be focused. Sometimes a tryst can be the prelude to a relationship also. It is the "hot date" card. Use this as an opportunity to recharge yourself and rebuild your self-esteem.

One area you may need to grow in is de-emphasizing the sexual component of your relationships. Great sex is always a boon, but Lust will never turn to love if it is the primary focus of the relationship. You cannot use sex to mask your neediness or the pain you feel. It only removes intimacy, which is the opposite of what you truly want. Don't objectify your lovers and don't allow yourself to be objectified. You can enjoy sex but use it as a means to join with another in love. Then you can feel complete fulfillment.

If you take this advice, you will see your Dream Come True. The outcome to the question on your heart is favorable, but there are lessons you need to learn based on the other cards. Whatever your dream, it is close to becoming a reality. Don't give up on what you want and continue to be patient. Your wish will soon be granted and all of your hard work, that which you have done and that which you will do now that you know what areas you need to work on, will be rewarded.

You're very welcome, I'm glad you got something out of it. I will research the cards and see if there is any advice in there that will help with some of the blockages. I don't recall seeing any affirmations on them but I will take a look and see what else I can find to help you.
