I have Mars and Saturn in the 2nd House, this seems a little contradictory, since Mars in the 2nd is spendthrift and Saturn in the 2nd is very cautious. Could someone please explain what this could be interpreted as?

My investments on everyday life ventures are usually very sound and I only spend money on things I want as a last resort. But I'm still wondering what these aspects could be interpreted as in relation to each other.

well wouldn't the position of them matter? like they are conjunt or something. and what other planets are aspecting them? Id say its like yu can be a spendthrift but a cautious one? lol

They are not conjunct. Mars (in Pisces) is opposite Jupiter and Moon, as well as trine Uranus and Neptune. Saturn (in Aquarius) is square Pluto and inconjunct Moon.
