Dear Airi,
I need the photograph to catch a person's atmosphere. And it's not as simple as it sounds.
In the last ten years, I have given thousands of readings as a Vedic astrologer, but never read online before this. Though I am not a 'psychic' in the western or rather Internet sense of the word, I also give readings without consulting a chart which draw on my spiritual practices and the Vedic and folk astrology. Here on Lindaland I have given only this type of readings. If an old Indian astrologer demands to look at your photograph, he would try to erect some sort of horoscope from it. I knew someone who could make your natal chart by merely looking at you. It's more common to erect a natal chart on the basis of the lines on your hand. Though I can't erect a natal chart from a photograph, I have other astrological methods to get a sense of planets and signs and time events from someone's appearance or photograph. I mix these astrological methods with my sense of clairvoyance. I can give an hour-long, detailed astrological reading merely by sitting with a person. In an online reading, a photograph is a substitite for a person's presence before me. When I know nothing about a person, there is no photo and I know just the login name, I mostly employ my clairvoyance but even then I use some astrological tools. It may seem very mystifying but that's how I do it. It's easier and takes less time than reading a chart. These days I mostly give this type of readings. So my 'psychic' readings do draw on my clairvoyance but Vedic and folk astrology is an important part of them. A photograph helps me use astrology and also gives me a sense of meeting the person.
Indian folk astrology is quite innovative, and unlike mainstream Vedic astrology, it is never written down. It flourishes in villages and small towns and is so diverse that the tropical-versus-sidereal debate would seem only a minor issue in comparison. For example, the red book astrology ignores the signs altogether. It considers only the planets and the houses. In the hands of an expert the red book is amazingly accurate. It has become very popular in north India after someone published it 60-70 years ago.

I can't make a chart by reading the palm. This knowledge is vanishing because it is not available in the books and those who know it are dying. It is called Samudrika. It includes face reading, palmistry and physiognomy. The folk, intuitive and experimental element in Indian astrology died because of standardisation of astrology as India westernised. Now what we have in the name of Vedic astrology is a dozen old texts and a few modern variations on them.
A most amazing Samudrik practice is to fix the ascendant from the whorls of your thumb. Even today nadi astrologers find your chart in their manuscripts by taking your thumb impression. These are secret methods not mentioned in books. They are mostly inherited.

I remember buying a copy of the Times Literary Supplement last year that had on its cover a beautiful painting of soles of Lord Rama's feet. All the auspicious Samudrik symbols were drawn on the soles, indicating his status as avatara of Vishnu. So there are not only those who read the palms but also those who read the soles.

Airi, it's not like that. I can't read faces, as in 'face reading'. I develop a sense of planets and signs from a person's appearance, the whole appearance. It may as well be the way you sound. I am not a Samudrik expert, though I did basic, Cheiro-type palmistry when I was young.
I don't want to discuss it further because it has started sounding very magical, and it gives a sense that I am better, more gifted than other astrologers. Moreover, there is no point in discussing the nature of my methods when I am not willing to share them with others here, for whatever personal reasons.
I just wanted to emphasise through this discussion that there are numerous astrological techniques other than chart reading. Metanarratives of astrology first marginalised these small traditions and then discredited them because they are mostly faith-based and can't be taught except through spiritual practices.

jupiter is going to conjunct my natal jupiter in 9th house in next few days, this is why m quite certain + my gut feeling that i will get whatever i want, this is my time. but my dreams keep bothering me.

just last night in my dream i was running and hiding from some people.This is a recurring dream,same place,enemies are different every time,strangers i don't know.
so, when i was done running, i looked back and thought ok this is the same dream,stop running and wake up now (my usual strategy when i've realized its a dream) but just then i decided to finish the dream for good.i turned back,stared the enemies in face and killed each one of them.i shot them, with their own guns and then i was thinking ok i have finished the dream now,it should not bother me again.
and then had another dream that there were some people shouting, hitting, killing each other and i was looking at them from my window. they crushed my car.

the third dream was like me shouting, about to hit, an old woman, telling her to get out of my car before i kill her.

[P.S i do not watch too many action movies, havn't watched one in a long time now]

what is this happening, i just can't figure it out. so much violence for one night
