I can only read basic things like what each planet stands for and some relationship compatibility. Do I have good things in 2011/12 or do I need to brace myself for more bad luck to come? Here’s my chart

First, you have my full sympathy. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Next, I wouldn't consider anything else difficult occurring this year, your only job is to graduate, grieve your loss and handle the business that comes up around these concerns as best you can.

There are fortunate energy patterns coming up for you at the end of June, beginning of July. This is the transit of Jupiter returning to your natal Jupiter which occurs every 12 years. It is strong reward energy. It is occurring in your Taurus which is a luxury and financial sign and it's in your 8th House which is also a financial house. I wouldn't be surprised if it has something to do with your father's estate since the 8th House is traditionally the house of death concerns and taxes, issues of spirituality as well.

Jupiter will go retrograde and return to that same spot in the middle of November, remember that it's fortunate energy, spiritual/religious and Jupiter is the planet of higher education, law and philosophy. Jupiter makes it's 3rd and final transit to your natal Jupiter at the beginning of February 2012.
