Hello lovely people,

I am hoping to get pregnant. I have been trying for a while and its not happened yet. I wonder if anyone can give me a reading (of any kind, I am very open). Mostly I want to know will it ever happen, and soon/not?

Its really difficult to wait. I had a miscarriage last year and have been trying for 9 months now... I am having dreams about other people having babies, and it just makes me want one more.

Thanks!

I remember you from last year

Thanks :-) And yup... still trying. Not that trying is the worst thing in the world, but after a while, it starts to wear on you. Christmas was hard. I hope it happens soon!

Volunteer your time at an orphan's home or children's hospital, and you might be surprised at the result.

"All deaths are suicides, do you realize that? Every single one. The only distinction is that, with some people, suicide is a subconscious choice, and with others it's a conscious choice. Otherwise, those who commit suicide and those who succumb to accident, illness or "old age," die for exactly the same reason: belief in the inevitability of death." Linda Goodman

I think you might be affecting it psychosomatically. (if that's even a word) I think you will have better results if you don't concentrate on the results. It seems like it's wearing you down and I don't think you want to conceive under those type of energies.

My suggestion is enjoy the act and find fulfillment with your partner and the rest will fall into place. It took my mom many years of trying to finally get pregnant with me, at the end she couldn't even remember how she got pregnant, I don't think you want the same to happen with you.

Randall - I live in a very wealthy area (where I don't speak the mother-tongue that well), so I don't know if I could really volunteer, but it is a great idea. Maybe I could try to do something with UNICEF locally. I have worked for years as a nanny/babysitter, and I feel like I have put in a lot of time loving other people's kids, but maybe if I take another babysitting job, and really put my all into it, it would be good.

littlecloud: I know what you mean about affecting things psychosomatically, and I honestly do enjoy the trying, and I try to relax, but it like have a sore tooth. Its very hard not to think about. But, I think its great advice, and I will try to find more ways to ignore the ache.

I didn't mean to ignore it, usually when you try to ignore or avoid something it just brings it up more. I meant that you should try to put your focus elsewhere. Sorry I wasn't clear. My mother keeps popping into my head and I suppose I'm trying to help others avoid what she went through. (I hope that includes me as well) At one point she had even told my father that she gives up and that she's tired of trying, she's tired of the tests and all the poking and prodding. I feel like this energy that I was conceived under has always been with me and to be honest it's quite depressing.

Ok, I see what you mean littlecloud. Its more about getting rid of the anxiousness to be ready to have a child in my life. To bring him/her into the world in a truly joyous/calm way.

Maybe I am wrong for saying so, or thinking it, but I don't know what else I could do. I am pretty happy minus the fact that I have not conceived yet. I do get angry at my husband sometimes, but overall we love each other pretty well. The big stress, I think, is this. I don't see why I should have to change anything or try harder to get pregnant. Its not as though I have lived a selfish life, or refused to care for others when they needed it. I have paid and helped and been pretty good I think. I don't know, I find this frustrating sometimes, and not every month, but often when I get my period I feel like God hates me, and I don't know why.

Anyway, maybe it will happen this month... you never know.
