Hey guys. I have had longtime ambitions of being a great artist or musician or writer and maybe my natal chart has some clues on which way to go.What artistic discipline do you think I should pursue. Should I be a musician/composer, a visual artist like a painter or animator, or maybe a writer, or maybe a combination of mediums. But more importantly, what topics am I "at home with" and have the best capability of profoundly addressing as an artist. Should I write about... love, loss, longing, and companionship spirituality and the search for meaning and truth Social topics and problems in politics and culture death, how it affects people and how people "die" and are transformed psychology and the complex mental landscapes of characters or some other ideas IP: Logged |

Well, your sun and venus are in your 7th house, which would be suitable for love, and your moon in your 8th would be good for a topic of psychology and mentality. Why not blend those two together? IP: Logged |

Honestly, with Uranus Mercury conjunction you probably will not take any of our advice, since "thoughts may come in “flashes” with an uncanny ability to come up with immediate solutions for complicated situations". My advice: Healing music (the sound as energy effects) and teaching music theory and something like "The origins of music". http://www.astroknowlogy.com/questions/how-is-uranus-conjunction-mercury IP: Logged |

Hello Bogdan,From your chart I'm getting energies having to do with design, sculpture - stone work (even if it's digitally designed stone work), technology can definitely figure into it so perhaps digital animation. But artistic creativity is so strong here, and it's public - no question about that. The spirituality and hard working idealism is there, the writing, etc. But my feeling is that YOU are the one who has to make the decision of how you want to express your creativity. You can do it all if you want or choose one focus, but at the age of 21 I'd think you would have already begun focusing on one. A big part of life development is learning how to make DECISIONS. There is no one anywhere who should be TELLING YOU what to focus on. It's your life, you NEED to make that decision for yourself. I'm not saying this lightly or frivolously. My suggestion is to line up all of those topics, make a list and just start writing about all of them. You will be guided, just begin. Two books I suggest you read: The Artist's Way and The Right To Write both by Julia Cameron She suggests that every artist should be writing anyway, even if you're a dancer or creative person who's art is not writing. ------------------ Geocosmic Valentine Professional Astrologer geocosmicvalentine@yahoo.com www.myspace.com/geocosmicvalentine IP: Logged | |
