Hi, I'm new here. I was wondering if anyone could take a look at my natal chart and tell me if you foresee success in a career in music. If not, any suggestions of what would be more suitable? Also, is there any indication of foreign traveling? Thank you so much, I really appreciate it.

My name is Kristina btw, if you didn't catch that from my username.

Hello Kristina,

Please respond as soon as possible to let me know if any of what I've said hits home, and feel free to ask me any questions in order to clarify.

There is a high probability of artistic success suggested by the symbolic patterns in your chart. There is also the suggestion that there are no blockages to your being able to travel, and frequency is also a possibility. You will be organized about your travel as well.

I don't know if this is related to the music career but if you are planning on going to college or university, there is a strong possibility that your higher education may be interrupted at some point. Don't panic. Depending on your level of musicianship now and at that time, it may not be such a bad thing. If a higher education is important to you and insist on completing it, by all means, move heaven and earth to finish, no matter when. Many musician (including myself) go to school for music and end up leaving because the career is yanking at them. I don't like to advise anyone to leave or for go their higher education, but it's another facet of reality that must be considered.

So, I hope that answers your questions. Please respond and let me know if this fits how your lifestyle seems to be flowing. All I can say is that it's a possibility if that's what you've been aiming for and you have the perseverance and tenacity for whatever part of the music industry to want your career to move in.

Thanks Randall

Thank you Geocosmic* Valentine!

I'm in a conundrum. I won a 4 year tuition free scholarship, which I didn't seek out for and am extremely grateful for, but I don't know if college is right for me. I learn more outside of the classroom; the only reason I'd get a college degree is for job requirement technicalities in the future if my dreams fall through. The scholarship gets revoked if I take a break from college, so I can't even explore the idea of what it would be like to travel and work abroad instead of go to college. I feel like I'm choosing between following my dreams and playing it safe. I have such a longing to see the world and make a difference, and when I'm in school I feel like I'm just biding my time till my life begins. I'm terrified that it will all blow up in my face later if I don't set something to fall back in the future, but I'm even more terrified of waking up one day realizing I never lived. I know that's a lot to unload on you, I'm sorry. I'm a bit emotional right now and my family isn't the best audience for this topic.

In short, yes, that does very much hit home.

Hello Kristina,

Thank you for your response. I have some questions for you. Are your dreams of working in the music industry based on "pie in the sky" fantasy of being the next Lady Gaga? Do you actually have music skills? If you don't have any skills, experience or heavily networked connections at this point in your life, then my advice is to take the scholarship.

However, if you've been honing your music skills through an instrument or singing and you've got some kind of solid skills in that area (in addition to some realistic business skills), then I'd advise you follow your career path into music.

There is a happy medium. Take the scholarship, go to school and see if you like it. Not many people have the opportunity to do both and that's what you have here. You can study the technical lessons of the other career while investigating the music stuff for a year or 2. If you find yourself suffering miserably, then end it. Make an adult decision to take control of your own life with confidence and do what your soul is directing you to do. Life is complicated for every single person on earth and we're all presented with some form of this same kind of decision. You're being handed the chance to take a little more time on a silver platter. There is nothing that says you can't travel during breaks or during your summers off. It seems, from your chart, that travel is going to be in your life no matter what. Music will also be in your life no matter what.

Hi Geocosmic Valentine,

Those are valid questions, I don't think I was very clear about my priorities.

My dream is to be able to make a difference. I want to help people and I'm not quite sure how yet. But I think I'd get a better idea of that by going to other countries, meeting all types of people, seeing their struggles, and help in any way I can.

I love playing music and writing. Even if I never make any money at it, I'll always be a musician. None of that is about fame or attempting to be the next Lady Gaga. I just think I could make a bigger impact humanitarian wise if I was in the public eye. Talent wise I can sing, play guitar, and I'm revisiting piano lessons this fall. As for the scholarship, I already took it and just ended my first year in college. If I were to leave, I would join a program to work/volunteer abroad and I'd make music on the side. Hopefully get some local gigs, but if not, I love performing just for the people I know. And I know this all seems idealistic, but this is the only thing I really want. I feel like it's the only thing I'd be good at. I'm going to stay in school before I'm definite about anything, but something is telling me I'm not meant to stay here.
