Would you be willing to put your pix up here?
You have Aphrodite conjunct the ASC.I would like to see how that showed up--only if you feel comfortable

I knew there would be something with the Child asteroid.
It is opposed to Mars.
Did you have violence in your childhood?
It has other strong aspects which must have given you resilience which you obviously have to have come this far.

I would think this would make a tension between your wanting to be strong/cave man and your wanting to be weak and curl up in a ball/Deja.
What do you think?

So, the Mars/mercury trines must have helped you overcome what you went through.Do you agree?
That must have taken a LOT of inner strength!

I just remembered, I have 4 Yods (or two double Yods)in my chart. Two of those Yods include my Chiron:

Chiron Inconjunct Ceres-Venus and sextile Jupiter (which is also inconjunct Ceres-Venus). There is no planet at the release point.

The second double Yod is:

Moon Inconjunct SN-Eris and Sextile Uranus (Which is also Inconjunct SN-Eris). NN-Pluto is at the release point.

I recall hearing these aspects are difficult, but seek a rewarding outcome. Maybe they were helpful some way in the Chiron wound.

Saturn allowed you to take Chaos and tame it with Saturns traits.

I think you have a Chiron wound and a LOT of strong aspects with which to overcome it

Interesting, I think most of my life has been about searching for ways to make myself better. Come to think of it I seem to have a very interesting learning process.

I was born into a family with a very dark side, but kept very separate from the dark goings on. Because of this oblivious upbringing, my young life was tinted with Neptunian "rose colored glasses".

I was always very sensitive, but eventually developed some pretty in-depth psychic skills. The thing that cracks me up is, when I was 10-13 I wanted so badly to have "powers" and become a super hero hehe. So I tried and tried to develop psychic abilities, but I had a rational side that just couldn't believe in it. From 14 - on, I started developing psychic abilities through mishap.

The most frustrating part was, it felt like fully functioning abilities were being downloaded into me and I was left to acclimate my life to this new (and often frightening) perspective of life.

Examples:

First time I experienced astral travel, I was pulled into a car accident to protect a cousin from knocking heads with the dead girl next to her.

First time(s) I experienced clairvoyance it manifested by me unconsciously getting a vision and jokingly making comments that often resulted in people getting hurt.

The first time I experienced psychometry it resulted in a visit to the nurse's office after hugging a friend and picking up her menstrual cramps.

The first time I experienced telepathy, I spent about 2 years trying to figure out hoe to block other people's thoughts and feelings out of my own head.

I had a near death experience and spent about 5 years figuring out how to keep my consciousness from abandoning my body (that was not a fun experience).

etc..

It's almost as if experiences come to me in a chaotic fog, and I spend years learning to modify my life to acclimate.

Well, I have always thought of Jupiter as sort of psychic. If Mercury is how one moves energy via symbols, then Jupiter (for me) is how one moves energy without symbols.

You can only say so much about a thing (Mercury) before having to just be an example of that thing (Jupiter).

Jupiter in Cancer is pretty emotional, if I am not conscious of my self, I am prone to mood changes based on whatever song is on the radio, commercials on tv, etc... It is a very involved planetary placement. it reaches out to it's environment wanting to get involved what's going on (when in retrograde, it seems the desire to be involved is based on a hope that being involved with others will result in learning to be involved with the self).

On an energetic level Jupiter in cancer has a neat mechanism. Feelings ride on my consciousness so if I think about a person, or direct my attention toward a person, it feels as though I am inhabiting that person, I can feel the fluctuations in people's mental chatter and their emotional state in real-time. If the person is also emotionally sensitive, they can sense my ability to feel them. If they are not, I can "feel inside" that person and manipulate the person's feelings to "notice certain feelings over others". This is a great skill for healing work, because it allows you to see where a person is storing their emotional energy. In some cases I have been able to sit with a person, rummage around in their guts and say, "What about THAT feeling?" then we discuss the feeling they are having and its roots.

Jupiter in Cancer could turn out to be a con artiest if negatively aspected. We have that Cancerian ability to create emotional scenarios and convince people they are involved in them. This planet placement also has a built in sensor for feeling out when one's Sagittarius is crossing a line. Unfortunately with Cancer involved, it comes down to a matter of "do I care that I am crossing this person's boundaries or not?". I always want people to have a good feelings, because whenever I pay attention to them, I am feeling them. In a way this can lead to an obsession with fixing people and making them feel good so I don't have to feel their negative emotions. When people are constantly surrounded my negativity, I am quite sensitive to not wanting to be around them. Conversely, Jupiter in Cancer is a lot like a nursing mother. We feel there is an endless source of nourishment within everyone if you learn to tap into it. If my Virgo Moon can get into a channeling state, people can take as much energy from me as possible and I will never get drained, because I am only acting as a channel to the universe, any energy taken is not personal energy. This can be difficult to maintain though, as Leo starts convincing Cancer that she is not being appreciated, and then Scorpio gets involved and starts brooding over the whole scenario. hehe

My father was physically abusive to my siblings but didn't hurt me so much, he was a very angry and repressed Scorpio man however. Mother was emotionally and psychologically abusive (Cancer Sun, Aries Moon, Gemini Mars). The fact that my parents never physically abused me, drove a psychological wedge between my siblings and myself.

I'll comment more on one of your later responses regarding another avenue of abuse.

This describes my struggle with my Gemini step-father. He was 19 when my mom met him and I was 9. I was very sensitive, and he came from a machismo culture. He was a complete cave-man and my disinterest in becoming one was offensive to him. He used my mom as a tool for my emotional abuse, because he could never win a fight without resorting to physical abuse. Often times I wanted to curl up in a ball or kill him. He definitely taught me about what is primal man and what parts of primal man are important.

I also love the image of living in a cave at the top of a mountain and being a tribal healer (very Chiron, but sort of literally cave-man).

Thanks for the pix
I can FEEL you better with it.
Those eyes---there is where you can see the intensity lol
Will come back and read. I would love to be able to leave my body more freely.
I have astral traveled. I have gone through periods when I did it several nights a week.
Now, I have gotten out of the habit and miss it.
Also, I had the fear of it build up again. You have to overcome the bodily resistance to leaving.
Anyway--do you REALLY have to struggle to stay IN your body?
That sounds like it would be good in that you could leave your body when you went to the dentist

Thank you for your descriptions of Jupiter in Cancer.
Could you please explain Jupiter in Pisces? I know you don't have it obviously but I would like to try to feel it out.
My Jupiter is in Leo and I have a hard time feeling out the water Jupiter's.
Thanks so much for any help!/
I will need to meditate on all your posts and be back

Actually that was the only time (aside from my near death experience) I ever actually left my body. Because of my psychotically Christian upbringing, I was always afraid that leaving my body would leave my body open to demon possession. As an alternative I learned to bi-locate.

The struggle to stay in the body was much more like having to convince my self the body was real, to avoid transitioning into the place we go when we die. I'm not sure it's like astral travel, because reality sort of melts away.

I am on my way to meet up with a friend, but I will give it a shot when I return. I don't recall knowing anyone with Jupiter in Pisces so I'll need to meditate on that one too.
